Random ‘Speaks’

I had this tiny idea while I was waiting for the library to open this morning…you see, while await my new computer to arrive, I’m on a public computer. So I had the idea to stick a tiny note next to the screen with the message ‘are YOU speaking louder?’ along with the SLTB.com web address sop that the next user might see it and get interested in finding the site…

This idea though, could really work anywhere. I am calling it ‘Random Speaks’. :p

Your not soliciting outside a store or anything like that, but what you do it place a tiny note with a ‘speaking louder than before’ message along with the web address for speakinglouderthanbefore.com and placing it anywhere! A random shelf at the grocery store, a local park bench, you can ever leave the note with a tip at a restaurant.

It might seam odd or even silly, but whenever I have found a note like that in the past, I have sometimes gone to visit the site the person was promoting…and only this time…we would not only be promoting J’s ministry, but possibly opening a door for someone to learn about Jesus. :)

So what do ya think? Are you in? :o

Oh I'm so in! Great idea! I love finding random notes like that! Never thought to be the one to LEAVE them :p

Maybe we should all commit to leaving 2 notes this week. If you do, post here. That will make us accountable to follow through. I need that in these busy days. I will do it this week. At least 2 notes.

Love it Laura! :) I, too, need those more specific deadlines/goals! Lately, I've had to make myself daily to-do lists cause life has gotten so crazy! But consider it done...at LEAST 2 :)

Awesome! :) My aunt & cousin & I went to a movie today but I didn't even think to take my post-its w/ me. We're gonna go see another movie later this week so I'll be sure to have it with me then! :) In fact, gonna put some in my purse now ;)

A great place to start leaving them is where I originally started leaving them--the library! :o

Books are constantly going in and out (try going to really popular books and leaving them on the first page of the first chapter!) Even if it means making a special trip there, this is one of the best little places to to it :o
