Jeremy is going to be at Celebrate Freedom in Dallas June 27th.

Oh yeah, and it's FREEEEEEE!!!!! :D

As far as tickets go, according to the website they will be available at several Dallas locations on May 26th and will only be available online IF THERE'S A NEED. However, my friend has assured me that they will have tickets available up until the event. So I'm flying by the seat of my pants here. My friend & I are gonna see if anyone we know in Dallas would be willing to get tickets for us, just in case. But if no one can, we're just gonna cross our fingers and PRAY that tickets are available online that day.

EDIT: Until now, this was advertised as a two-day festival with over 40 bands. But it's looking like it's just a one-day festival with about 13 bands. Also, it no longer says that Meredith will be doing the live-cam thing. Strange! Oh well, should still be awesome!

Oh and one more thing......

I DECLARE THIS A SOUTHERN CAMPOUT!!!!! :D We'll have to figure out all the details later, as this is now only a one-day festival & we certainly don't want to risk heading out to dinner & missing J. Maybe we can meetup at the Chic-Fil-A Cafe on site or something hehehehe (hey, this IS a Tx CAMPout afterall! It's GOTTA be different! :p)...we'll figure it out, I'm sure. If anyone has any ideas, let me know!

Wow....I just told my friend about it....Mr Pessimist (or as he refers to himself, Mr. Realist :p) who always comes up with excuses right away - too much money, my car might not make it (now why would he think that? :p), I may have to work, or the always fun...ehh...we'll see...

His exact response to this one was "Wow that sounds great! I'd totally be into that!" :eek: :D

This is awesome! I'm moving back to Oklahoma this summer, and will only be about 2 hours north of Dallas... so I will totally have to try and make it!!!

Not yet. He really wants to...it basically all depends on how his car is doing at that time. He's had some trouble with it since the Great Wheel Collapse of Jan 09 hehe. But we're trying to get a group together & maybe we can take someone else's car in that case. So we'll see.

Our southern CAMPout looks like it's starting to take shape! SO many people I know going! And my cousins told me about this AWESOME italian restaurant where we can all meet for dinner! :) Yay! We'll work out details closer to the date.

I'm officially declaring a SOUTHERN CAMPOUT!!!! :D

So we should start role call...

He'll be at Celebrate Freedom in Dallas this summer! It's a totally awesome two-day festival featuring over 40 bands and other fun events including a fireworks finale! SWEET!

Oh yeah, and it's FREEEEEEE!!!!! :D That should make it easy finding someone to go with! :p

I just realized that this festival is the same weekend as Creation! Bummer! So none of the bands playing at Creation will be there.

I've looked up several artists' websites & can't find anyone else who will be on this tour so I can't imagine! Hmmmm....

my parents are going on a cruise to alaska for their 25th anniversary.. :( and im staying w/ my g-parents...

to be honest... while i love my g-parents very much... i would rather be at CFF:(

i see them more than once a week.. so i can live w/o seeing them for 2 days.. haha

Updated first post w/ information. And this is very important....

They're only giving away tickets in Dallas on May 18th so if you plan on going, you may need to go there to get them, or if you know someone in the area, see if they'll get them for you! They will give them away online at 5pm that day ONLY if there's a need!

Uh oh....just noticed they're going to have a Chic-Fil-A Cafe there!!! Jeremy's in TROUBLE! Hehehe. And that's where all the artists are signing! I can see it now. "Yoohoo J, we're over here" *J turns around w/ a mouthful of chicken* :p

Oh and get this. I told my friend about the tickets being available in Dallas only. He and I are actually driving to Dallas that day (8-hour roundtrip) to pick them up! Yeah we're crazy like that :p

We've also got our hotel reserved for the night before! If you're going & need a hotel, I HIGHLY recommend the Hyatt Regency! There's a link to it on the CF site & if you tell them you're attending CF, you get a reduced rate! Mine was even less than the rate listed on the CF site! Would be fun if we were all in the same hotel!!! And they have several dining options so we could have our CAMPout dinner the night before the festival at the hotel

No....and I hate to say it, but there's a slight possibility that we may not make it to the festival :( My friend's car has been REALLY acting up lately & he's afraid it won't make it to Dallas. We're gonna go ahead and get tickets & just see what happens. I told him I'd rent a car if we had to :p We just HAVE to get there! Oh and I don't know that we're gonna be staying in a hotel either. He's thinking of just having us drive up and back the same day. Not sure, but we'll see...I'll keep you posted.

Oh no! I really hope you can make it!!! And yes, get your tickets just in case and we'll be praying everything works out for you!!!! I looked at the celebrate freedom site online, looks like it's going to be a lot of fun!

So it appears they will have tickets online for sure. The site still says there will be tickets online @ 5pm on May 26th, so I would just keep an eye out for them. I know I will be ;)

I hope we can make it too!!!! At least I know that if we can't make it, I've still got a show to look forward to in October :)

Ok, tickets are supposed to be available today at 5! No clue if they'll be online also. According to the site they will be, but according to the email that guy sent me, it sounds like it'll be a while before they're available online. So I guess we'll see! Good luck getting your tickets everyone!

"BIG artist announcement" coming on Monday! :) Wonder if they're going to announce just one of the two artists they've added or both! Can't wait to hear! But it's going to be announced on Twitter ONLY so add them if you haven't yet! @CelFreedom

As of right now, it looks like we're going. My friend called me last night & told me to look into a different hotel. They posted a new hotel on the site & it's HALF the price of the Hyatt. So we're most likely staying overnight one night...just not sure which one yet. When I find out, I'll let you know and we can make plans from there if we're able to meet outside of the festival or if we should just meet at the festival.
