I see Jeremy has new band members. What happened to his brother Jared and Michael Martin the bass player??

I've never heard why Mike left. I did hear that Jared wanted to spend more time with Heather. It would be so hard to be away from home so much, especially for newly married people.

I couldnt imagine why he would want to leave his brother's band though. Is he playing anywhere else??

None of us really know the details of why Michael and Jared left or what they're doing now. I figure that if they wanted us to know those details, they'd be revealed. Like Laura said, we've heard that Jared probably left to spend more time with his new wife. A life on the road isn't the best choice for everyone. Even in the case of Jared where his brother is the artist he was playing for, it doesn't make the life easy. I'm sure Mike and Jared did whatever they felt they were called to do at the time.

lol i knew jeremy's bro played i just never knew who lol but i will know when he talks about hes band and that like when he inturdes them and then i forget lol for some odd reason i forget names very easly

does ANYONE but Leif still play in the band...I don't see anything about Jacob either...thats a bummer..yeh..I know they are each called to do what THEY should be..but...still..it was awesome to see BROTHERS working together

Jacob left right after the Beyond Measure tour I think. Leif & Randy still play with Jeremy.

The reality of the music business is that you'll see band members come and go. You'll see it a lot when it's the band for a solo artist. Touring isn't glamorous. Usually you won't know all of the reasons why someone chooses to leave a band. It could be one of a million things. Missing family, wanting a more stable income, musical differences, personal differences, God calling them in a different direction, etc. It's their business why they leave. Yes, it does stink to see a familiar face leave, but it's going to happen.

Jeremy's band has gone through multiple line-up changes over the years, and probably will go through even more as long as he chooses to continue touring. The only original band member still there is Leif.

Before Walt, there was Michael. Before Michael, there was Aubrey.
Before Andy, there was Jared. Before Jared and Randy, there was just Ryan.
Before Jacob came multiple keyboard players (Justin Glasco and Zach Hodges are the only names that come immediately to mind, but I'm pretty sure there were 1 or 2 others).

You can continue lifting up the old members in prayer. Maybe one day you'll see them again.
And make sure to support the new members. Take opportunities to get to know them.

There are already several threads talking about this...here's what Adie said...

The band guys had an official goodbye for Mike and Jared at some shows on the road...
They both felt like their season with Jeremy and traveling so much had come to an end.
Jared is back in Lafayette with his wife Heather and Mike is in Nashville.
There were no weird or bad things, just the season come to an end.
And as you know, Walt and Andy have filled their spots, which has been awesome!

likely thru the fall. his wife, Meredith Andrews is also touring, ( with another label), and juggling all that is very tough, I am sure.

I though Jared was great too. But I have to say that Andy is absolutely amazing live!!! He's a really strong player and watching him inspires my faith a lot. He's super into each song and he sings along while he's playing and just really looks like he's being moved by The Spirit. I think Jared was little more subtle on stage, but still really good though. (of course)
