Woah baby! And all this time I've felt guilty about that one Ultimate Cheeseburger I had from Jack-in-the-Box several years ago. At 1010 calories & 71 grams of fat, it doesn't come CLOSE! Here's something that'll get some of you freaking out...

A calorie is a measure of heat. (in that case, shouldn't ice cream have ZERO calories? It's cold!) However, a calorie is actually so small that they don't measure individual calories -- they measure them by the thousands.

So, if something says it has 1 calorie, it actually has 1000.

So that McDonald's Double Cheeseburger? 440,000 calories.

You may commence freaking out. :P

Aw, come on, science is fun! :) It was always my favorite subject in school- from kindergarden to the present day. But my school didn't teach us in-depth about calories (or if they did my memory of that has faded) so I didn't know that! But thanks Labby for sharing that information with us! I will be sure to store it in my memory bank for future reference.
