Jeremy spilled the beans on Twitter that he's writing for a new worship record! Yay!!!! Hopefully he spills more soon!

He's teasing us! :eek: He was writing with some people so I'm wondering if it will be one of those where several people will be in on it, singing together or each sings a song or two....? Like that one Mac Powell, Brian Litrell and a few others did a couple years ago.

I mean I know J does a lot of ad libs with "This Man," but I think I would attribute it to a "live" version. I didn't realize it was a new version!

I'm on the fence about "special" things (e.g. new "This Man," Hallelujahs at end of "Walk by Faith," and blues "Jesus Loves Me") being recorded... It gives you something to look forward to in concert! But it is awesome! Ah, dilemmas! Good thing we have no choice in the matter, eh? ;)

I did my order as well...so waiting for it, but Christianbook.com thinks that it is coming out 11/24 per their distributor (I emailed them asking about that). I informed them that they may want to recheck that as BEC states it's coming out 11/17...so we'll see if that changes.

Ok so today was THE worst day EVER!!! i woke up feeling great, (woke up at 5am feeling great, remembered the album, found out that Jeremy is gonna be in the Air 1 studio THIS week, heard let it fade on the radio 5 mins after i woke up had cinnamon rolls for brkfst) but everything went DOWNHILL from there. Longest day EVER! i was crying almost the WHOLE way to piano, failed my science paper (sort of) got something stuck in my thoat that scratched/cut my throat. That made voice not-so-fun. guitar was ok. :(

but i got the the album! and give me jesus is being that song that slaps me out of my "me, me,me" attitude, but its ALSO one of those songs that when my day is just not good AT ALL it just, you know, makes things a LOT better. AT the same time!

I'm actually extremely disappointed in the CD...

It just sounds like a collection of live recordings instead of a live concert album. I mean.. there are 2 endings to 2 different concerts ("There Will Be A Day" and "Give Me Jesus"). It just sounds like they recorded his RAWRS set and then added a few more live tracks just for kicks. It's pretty disappointing because I thought it was going to be a concert on CD, but it's just live recordings from different concerts. Don't get me wrong... every single track is AMAZING... I just thought I was going to listen to it and feel like I relived the Jeremy concert experience, but I definitely didn't feel that way after listening...

Oh well... I'll still listen to it. It's an amazing CD, it just doesn't come across as a live CD when I listen to it..

That's what I'm most excited about with this new album! I LOVE all the live versions of the songs & hate that I only get to hear them every 4-6 months. But now we can hear them any time we want! :) And for the record, the new live ending of There Will Be A Day gives me CHILLS! When he repeats, "We'll see Jesus face to face" and then sings, "We'll finally be home"....Wow! :) And I love that it's so long too! Most CDs last about 45 minutes...this one is over an hour long! I kept thinking, "Ok this is the last song....no wait...there's another one!...." :D

what shipping method...USPS would be media mail and that is 2-3 weeks and has no tracking. UPS ground should arrive by Monday or Tuesday (since it shipped last Monday) & have tracking. Anything else should have arrived and have tracking. I used Christianbook as well & managed to get 2nd day air when I paid for UPS ground. so hopefully it will come soon and if tracking says delivered...call them...they are good about it.

no, only because they have no way of knowing when it's delivered especially if it's post office (no tracking there as they use media mail-I think that's equal to 4th class mail not 1st class). Usually I pay for UPS ground the price is barely more and totally worth it... keep listening to it @ NRT while you can and you will probably get it after Thanksgiving :( For anything J from there I would recommend tracking method shipping, ie UPS It'll help the the the excitement level....sorry it's not there yet but hopefully media mail will be fast this time and get there before Thanksgiving. If it doesn't arrive by the Tuesday or Wednesday after Thanksgiving...then contact them. It'll have been 2 weeks by then and have accounted for the Thanksgiving delays...You'll appreciate it all the more when it arrives ;)

Furthermore, the reason I think songs are out of order are because of the "special" What it Means. It doesn't really fit anywhere, even though it's cool. And Take You Back is at the end of the album, when it's usually at the beginning few songs.

But I have to say, the editing is pretty flawless, and whether it was two different live shows or songs placed in a different order, with the exception of J finishing at the end of There Will be a Day, it feels like a live experience to me!

The album was recorded at the Boomin'/Beyond Measure concert in LA, CAMPergirl was at that one and @ RAWRS Dallas...I think they changed the oder of songs because the set lists were way different.

Yeah, I heard the "God bless you guys," too, and thought the same thing, Todd. I think they just remixed the order of the songs for the album, but I like how it flows, and it does feel like a live show to me, too. I'm really, really pleased with this album. I think part of it is because I normally am not real big fan of live recordings, so I wasn't expecting it to be so extraordinary. However, because the sound quality is so excellent in this, and again, the way the songs flow so well, it's seriously one of my favorite J CDs.
