My mom

My mom has been working as a restaurant manager for about 4 years now. But she just recently got an incredible job offer and after weeks of debating she's decided to take it. She said she has a real sense of peace about it, but of course she's still nervous at the same time. Just pray that she keeps that feeling of peace! This new job would be SO much better for her...during the day instead of night so she can be home with us at night, more pay, more time to focus on her magazine (that was the capper pretty much right there!), and happier coworkers...she always has so many horror stories about the people she works with not caring about what they do and the restaurant has a no-fire policy...they basically just phase someone out by giving them less time on the clock.

But I really think this will be good for her!

we're definitely praying! even starting a DREAM job can be scary, but....the peace of God passes ALL understanding (and NOT understanding!). we're standing on the peace that He has given her, and we're praying for a smooth transition. :)

She's getting more scared every day! She finally submitted her resignation & got nothing but praises, so that helped put her at ease, but she's got those normal huge life transition jitters. She starts her new job May 4th so it's coming up soon!
