Oh, and get this! My wonderful friend, Connie, (who is always with me at concerts) is moving out east...:(, and it was planned for early Sept. She is going to try putting it off for a month so she can go to Chicago with me on the 2nd!!! I told her that they can live with us during that time, so we may have house guests with us for a month. YaY!!

LauraA

(Actually, we have them as house guests for 2 months. We've had them for a month and it's been such a blessing! She and her brother went to FL a couple days ago, for a week and I miss them so much! Her daughter (almost 19) is with us, which is awesome. Connie's husband is a trucker, so we only get to see him once in awhile. But it's been so great!)

Anyway, one of the gals we met on the RAWRS Tour (stream online) who lives in IN was online when Tenth Avenue North was streamed a couple nights ago. It was like a RAWRS Reunion! So many people were there that we knew. Anyway, I was talking to her about going to Chicago for the SLTB concert and she's thinking she'd like to go and will be talking to her husband about it. It would be so great to meet her! Also, Rhonda and Krista may be going. (Krista was on the stream, too.) It looks like we're going to have a group!

Is anyone else thinking of going? :)

LAURA!!!! 11 More days!! Any idea on what time you plan on getting down to the church? I'm probably going to head home from ISU Thursday evening after my night class, so I'll be in Morris Friday morning and be able to be at the church anytime :)

LauraA
09-22-2009, 06:07 PM
Hey Justin,

I'm going to call the church tomorrow and ask how many Artist Circle tix they sold, and then I can tell you when we will be there. I'll get back to you on that, ok? You know....I'm guessing we'll be there pretty early. SURPRIZE! lol

Toddrick33

If I had know about this earlier, I may have thought about coming because it coincides with my fall break... but Chicago is really far from Columbus!

LauraA
09-24-2009, 04:54 PM
Awwww Todd! Isn't there ANY way? It would be totally awesome if you could meet us there!! :)

Justin, the church (venue) returned my call today. There have been "a few hundred" "artist circle" tickets sold.... so that means that we could end up in the first row...or the 10th, or even further back, depending on how many seats are in the middle section. So. We are going to arrive there early. I'll email or message you on FB.

Also, doors open 30 minutes before the concert starts, which is when we are supposed to be meeting at the merch table for the meet and greet. That means we will have to get our seats, then show up late or something for the meet and greet. The church didn't know anything about those.

But it's all good. It will work out and we'll have a blast, I'm sure. :) No doubt about it!

Awesome Laura!! I'm probably going to leave my place in Normal early Friday morning and then head up to West Chicago. Let me know what time you think you'll be there and we can keep each other entertained in line. AHHHHH 3 more days :)

LauraA

COL, nice.... Relatively speaking, with time and money to factor in as a broke law student, it's far away.

Wow Laura! That's seriously early! I'm guessing it's GA & not assigned seating? You'll be front row for sure! :p

LauraA

It's not assigned seating. We have "Artist Circle" but they sold hundreds of them.....

And we have fun hanging out anyway. LOL. Kind of a "tradition" now with Connie and I. We go as early as possible.

Tomorrow is the day!!! I'm leaving Normal around 5:15... that will put me back in Morris (hometown) around 6:30.... then on to West Chicago by 7:30. I have like 5- 8"x10" photos for Jeremy to sign from the Rock and Worship Roadshow. I'm hoping any rain will hold off.

LauraA
10-01-2009, 04:41 PM
Oh so cool, Justin!! I'm excited. Do you still have my number? I have yours if it hasn't changed since April.

We'll be almost there in 12 hours.

MN is getting the rain so hopefully it won't drift your way until well after the concert. And you guys get an extra treat as Leif is playing during Natalie Grant's set as well.

Short and sweet, but more coming from both Justin and I.

Of course, the concert was powerful and awesome.
Jeremy was looking good, healthy, happy.
He and Adie are still grieving over the loss of their baby, but they are dealing with it and they are in God's hands. He said they are doing well and can feel the prayers of God's people. He thanked us for praying and said it meant so very much. (I told him that we've all been praying for them, more than ever.)
He and Adie are very much thinking they will be doing a CD TOGETHER next year....probably a Christmas CD!!!! YaY!!
Jeremy's new Tour Manager, Lucas, was a very nice man. I had a real good feeling about him.
We were able to chat with all the guys in the band except Walt, who didn't come out. I think it was Andy who said he was probably on the phone with his girlfriend.
Connie had J sign my "In 24" and he said "That brings back memories! That was WAY back!" I said, "You know what that means then.....time for an update!" LOL. He replied, "That's a possibility. Maybe after next year's project." (Yee haw!)
I had J sign something he's never signed before and he LOVED it. Hahaha. You'll have to wait for pictures.
Jeremy's family was there and sat right in front of us. They are the nicest people!

It's hard to express, (but I really don't need to because you've all been there) the way it feels when we can just sing with all our hearts and worship our God and King. I'm still on the post concert "My heart is overflowing with Jesus' love!" I pray that I can continue to renew that daily, so I can walk with joy regardless of the world around me. I pray that for each of you.

More soon.

Girl you sure know how to leave us in agony!!!! :p Can't wait to see the pics (especially of this mysterious autograph item!)

I'm excited that you got to meet the entire band. I hope we get that same chance in Austin! I keep telling Jeremy they all need to be involved in the M&Gs :p

I'm excited about all the little "hints" about upcoming projects! And a Jeremy/Adie CD.....YAY!!!!!! :D And I agree...it's DEFINITELY time for a DVD update! (The devotionals are great, but they don't count :p) Last one we got was in 2004...that was FIVE years ago already! Yikes! Where is the time going?

Ah, "In 24." What a great DVD! I'm glad you've heard of it and have it. :)

Hahaha! Nope. I wouldn't do that to you, Todd. LOL. But we did do the Pink T-Shirt Prank! Jeremy laughed again and said, "These are showing up all over!" I said, You know what this is all about, right? (Holding up your picture) and he said, "Oh yeah!!" ROTF. It was hilarious!

I've had In 24 for a few years...one of the first things I got way back when I was still a lurker on the boards...to shy to sign up and "talk." I really like it! Anyone who doesn't have it should check it out.

Adam, Leif, Andy, Lucas, Randy and Donnie were all out and about before and/or after the concert. Only Lucas was in the meet and greet.

Kelly, I have a meeting tonight, and 2 tomorrow night, but I'm going to try as hard as I possibly can to get pictures up soon. I promise. I know how hard it is to wait and I don't want to make you suffer. lol. :)

Adam has some AWESOME merch. Please be sure to stop by and check out the new t-shirts. He does an amazing job. That young man is very talented!

God is good.

Awwww Laura I LOOOOOVE those pictures!!! You know where to send them ;)

Ok first of all I have to say....when yall have mentioned the piano part of the set lately, I just assumed it was Jeremy singing w/ Donnie playing piano....I didn't know JEREMY played!!!! SUPER excited to see that!!!

Secondly, I think you beat the bowling pin for strangest thing signed! (Although, I'm kinda surprised he didn't say the flamingo :p)

Yay! So glad you had an awesome time!!! I'm just getting more and more excited for my turn!!! :) 27 days!!!!

Thanks for the reminder, Kelly. I may need a hint at the addy...I forgot which one it was. It was yahoo, I think,...but I need the first part.

Jeremy did a great job on the piano. You could tell he had to concentrate on what he was doing, but it was really good. And it was a medley with several songs, so it lasted quite awhile. Loved it!

Can't wait to hear about last night's concert. I think Aaron and Todd went to that one. Cara, did you? Anyone else?

I'm glad you all enjoyed the pictures. I really didn't get too many, but Justin has more.

Yeah, the check signing turned out pretty good. His reaction was funny! I know what you mean, Steve. Some of the things I thought about having him sign were good ideas, but it the autograph would of worn off in time. :)

Now I'm anxious for the spring schedule to be released.
And the new CDs in November
And the rest of your concert stories
And the videos that Leif is doing
And
And
And....!
LOL.

I still can't believe nobody informed me about this prank. And he didn't mention it to me, that turkey. :P

Forgive me, but I am missing the check story. Is it like a blank check or a work check? I once asked him if he signed his checks with his "autograph" signature, and he said no. So what you have is truly unique! :)
