how to tell a friend she's beautiful?

my best friend won't listen to me when i tell her she's beautiful. she may be overweight but she is not fat. she keeps insisting that she is fat, though. i get worried about her sometimes. she's not starving herself or anything, but i wish she knew how beautiful she really was. i pray for her everyday, that she would realize that she is beautiful, inside AND out. and i want to ask you to pray for her too.

another thing is that she is 18 and has never had a boyfriend. she says it's because "guys don't like fat girls." but i am always telling her that she doesn't need a boyfriend and God has someone who is perfect for her, and will love her for her.

well just keep praying to God and ask him to show you how to show her that she is beautiful and she doesn't need a guy to tell her that.

well i was talking to her last night and she said that she knows God considers her beautiful but she's still disgusted with her body and the way she looks. i just don't think she considers herself beautiful or pretty. :(

Laura, thanks so much for sharing that song!! It is beautiful! I had never heard it before. I checked out the videos and that is sooo cool he is from Lakeland, FL! We use to live close to there and we went to church in Lakeland. I checked out his website and I love his music. I will have to check out more of his stuff.
