I waited outside of a gate at six flags for 3 hours with my friend for one of their concerts.

yep...

I will see them at least once this summer...one of my friends has seen them upwards of 25 times...in the last 2 years(less than that acutally). but I love seeing them in concert cause they always make the fans feel special and everything. ;)

Not to put Hawk Nelson as a band down or anything, but the concert I went to sucked! I mean it had nothing to do with Hawk Nelson putting on a bad show it was just that everyone there ws like "who's Hawk Nelson?" or "They suck, FLYLEAF! FLYLEAF!". Like everyone there was wanting to see flyleaf and Family Force 5! (I mean Flyleaf and FF5 are like in my top 10 band list but Hawk Nelson is number 2 so ya) On top of that while HN played like a third of the crowd was sitting! Probably the worst thing about was our seats I mean talk about nosebleed section!

No it was at six flags in arlington texas. The funny thing is that the day b4 that it was Jeremy, Toby, and Matthew West, I was on the 6th row I think (I lost my ticket it was like somethin under 7) and it was like an awesome concert, people just worshipping the Lord and I was on the 6th row so ya! Then the very next day I come and Im with a friend we sit outside a gate for 3 hours find our seats and... woah is that tiny thing down there a stage?:confused: So as soon as FF5 finished we went to the end of the catwalk and stood there for a while then the security guy told us to go to our seats so then we wnt to the other catwalk they did Hello then another security gaurd came and asked to see our ticket nad we wnt back to our seat they played 3 more songs then as soon as they finished we road the flashback and the batman in an hour while Flyleaf played and left. Most likely Ill be seeing them at least once this summer + the Revolve tour.

Hawk Nelson is amazing...if you're sitting through a Hawk Nelson set you must be crazy!! They bring so much excitement to the stage and really get the place charged up! They are the nicest guys. I've taken my kids to see them at least 6 or 7 times. They are the reason my oldest son can talk about God out loud now without caring what other people think. (Middle school can be such a rough place!:eek:) He's even gotten several of his friends to accept Jesus as their Savior.

that is really cool that they have affected your son that much. I love how they don't really treat people as fans but as friends....haha...and then sometimes that can be misinterpreted by 14/15 year old girls...

I didnt sit thru the concert now that would have been crazy. Me and my friend almost got kicked out of the venue for getting close to the stage since we couldn see so we went bac to our seats and just stood and jumped up and down and stuff. In august im gng to another one and its gngg to be funner becuse last year they let us make mosh pit now thats fun. then in September im gng to another one.

Literally just got back from the concert and only slept for 3 hours last nite (I do not advise ever trying that and then rockin out to HN). So heres the deal, it was like a ginormous mosh pit. I was right in front of Daniel (the bass playa). It was awesome! I took lots of pics. At first I thought they got a new guitar player cuz he had glasses and hair was different, bt Jason clalled him Johnathan so i guess it's the same one. On the song Hello instead of Jason picking one person to go "kazoo" with him he walked thru the crowd and split directly in half and every1 had to make the noise and we had a contest to see who was loudest. Our team won (only cuz Daniel wanted to boo the other team). I screamed so much my throat hurts so bad! I got to tell Justin (the drummer) that he rocked, but he had to go backstage and i had to leave so ya. It rocked so hard! Idk I'm thinkin that was my fav concert so far! I want them to come back to that conference next year it was super fun!

Jon(athan) has been with Hawk longer than Justin, or Aaron, he has been in it since 04. I love standing/sitting in front of Dan...the faces he makes are awesome, haha. I can always somehow make girls that are like 10-16 years old go crazy over one of them...it is really funny. and yeah...I miss them...I can't wait 11 months to see them again(at least I don't want to)...but I might have to if they do anything like they did last year.

Ya theyre coming to Frisco, which is about 2 hours away i think, nxt thursday and i really want to go. It seemed like I had heard some where that one of them had been there since 04 bt i ddnt think it was john. If i think about it and look thru pictures it does seem like it. He looks like a totally different person with his hair cut and glasses (at least to me he did. I started freaking out cuz i thought they got a new guitarist and i didnt kno about it) but its still the same old Johnathan. Has he had glasses or did he just get them? I still haven't gotten to meet anyone from Hawk Nelson and I really want to. Yes Daniel makes the funniest faces. My camera went dead as soon as it started so I got few pictures.

he wears them every so often. I think he wears contacts mostly(or maybe they are just "dress up" glasses). that is annoying that your camera died. you will get to meet the guys some day and you will LOVE IT. Dan and Jason have been in since the beginning(03), Jon joined after Davin(old guitarist) quit in 04, and Justin joined the Jan. 1st of this year(aaron joined after matt quit in 05).

4 years...ever since they were on tour w/ Plus One(that was a long time ago...). just didn't get to see them until 3 years ago...cause every time they would come here I had something else planned for twice as long. what about you?

Since I think September of 07. I had the crappiest taste in music for the longest time. Then I heard Jeremy Camp and Hawk Nelson on our music video channel on TV (I luv that channel so much for actually getting me into REAL music). Like that day I bot Their double take on itunes and was hooked and have been ever since. I really like Hawk Nelson I mean from reading articles about them on the internet I got into Thousand Foot Krutch. I mean TFK is an awesome band. Sadly Hawk Nelson Is My Friend wasn't exactly wat I expected, dont get me wrong. Its a great album. I just didnt think Hawk Nelson would go that way. Which is totally cool, I just wanted it to have like Jason screamin in at least one song or u kno just a little bit harder, but it's all cool. They still rock. O and I think Hawk Nelson should get a message board, but they should have strict rules or else it would be overflowed with girls sayin how hott they think Jason is!

there is one...but like it isn't very active and there isn't any modertors. yeah...I get what you are kinda saying about HNIMF...but they have never been about screaming...cause they know how bad it could be for your voice. yeah. like I am on 2 different messge boards for hawk, one that was linked to their site(like when LTTP came out), the other is run by fans(well not much anymore). the one that was linked to the site is really good at not talking badly about the wives/lenay(haha), the other one all they really do is bash Lenay...and talk about how hot Jason is.

I just thought it would be nice to have like one song that has it but whatever i still luv their music its not like that just totally ruined it. I like the new way they seem to be going its nice. So I really like their song on the JCpenny commercial it's really good.

k cool. I want to go to the revolve tour. I have to wait til next year though. Hopefully they hav Hawk Nelson again next year. Have you gone to Revolve?

no...I haven't been to it. too old and our church isn't going so I can't even go as a chaporone. Hawk is on it this like next year of it. they love it...it is funny.

Ya my friend goes to it every year and begged me to go to it this year but i couldn't. I think it would be really cool to see Jeremy and Hawk on tour together. I think they already did once, but i had no clue who either of the bands were.

yeah they did...I like the videos from their old roadie(hawk's), Jordan, from that tour. he isn't with them anymore =(. but the other one is really cool.

I got to see them a few weeks ago in Midland. They were great! I didn't have a really good view though, except for the big screen they put out, cuz I was standing in line to get autographs from Switchfoot.

It was a great concert. I went with a friend of mine's church. I won't say anything about the seats cuz it ddnt matter whenever Hawk Nelson came out. So me and my friends went into a giant moshpit of screaming girls 30 mins. b4 the concert started! ugh! Seriously i wish the girls drooling and screaming and fighting over how hott they think Jason is would stop! I mean he wouldnt even sing on the side of the stage i was on for more than like 2 seconds because the girls just went nuts! It was a great concert, except i wasn't on Dan's side but i'll live. Um comparing it to the last concert (Liberate), Liberate was prob better. There were only about 600 people there instead of wat felt like a million screaming girls. More songs were played at Liberate. Less screaming of the girls and i was on Dan's side. But one thing better about Revolve was that I got about 200 pics of Hawk instead of 15 like last time.

The funniest thing is that after the conference was over we went to our van to ride home and we had a flat tire! AT A GIRLS CONFERENCE! but we got the tire changed so that was good.

if it wasn't for Hawkie I wouldn't like most of the bands that I do. Like they are the ones who introduced me to Run Kid Run and Capital Lights and quite a few other ones.
