So i tried to start this on the old boards but was follish enough to only put in the hood, so il open it up.
The boards have people from all over the place from RSA to scotland to oregan so i thought it would be cool to have a topic for photos of 'your world', where you live, work, your church, places that are important to you in yopur every day life so we can see a bit more of everyones world and their life!
Over the next couple of days im gonna get snap happy and il upload my world for ya soon!

Fort Santiago - Wiki link (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fort_Santiago)
Fort Santiago (Fuerza de Santiago) is a defense fortress built for Spanish conquistador, Miguel López de Legazpi. The fort is part of the structures of the walled city of Intramuros, in Manila, Philippines.
The location of Fort Santiago was also once the site of the palace and kingdom of Rajah Suliman, chieftain of Manila of pre-Spanish era. It was destroyed by the conquistadors upon arriving in 1570, encountering several bloody battles with the Muslims and native Tagalogs. The Spaniards destroyed the native settlements and erected Fuerza de Santiago in 1571.

I was gonna say your friend becky rather lovely in appearance lol.
my church goes by the name queens park baptist church. Its situated right next to queens park in glasgow, real inventive name for the church eh? Incidentally the building i posted only cost QP £1.
Here is the view from my front door (i was sitting on my step)

Here is a few shots from millport (well the isle of cumbrae to be specific, millport is the town on the island). Cumbrae is an island that has a circumference of 11miles, and basically all you do is get the ferry acroos, cycle it, play some crazy golf and eat ice cream.

Lots more to come. I'll start taking some of our backyard, house, church, area, etc.

I loved going to school for nursing. I didn't finish because I learned that I'm too weaked stomached to handle seeing people in pain. (I cry right along with them...not good for patients. lol) But the book learning part was awesome. Is that a A&P book you have open there?

Laura, you have a really nice yard. Good for some coffee drinks, or reading under the tree. If it's really windy there, that's a perfect study area for me. :) Your yards makes me wish I was out of town right now.
Btw, RE: Study Nursing: It's an Anatomy and Physiology book. ;) I am not planning to practice nursing in my whole lifetime. I am planning to teach in the future.

That's what I thought it was. My A&P books looked just like that....and that was 25 years ago! lol. So you would like to teach nursing? Cool. Now, do you have to combine nursing with teaching classes, or get a special degree for that? Do you get practical nursing experience so you can teach the students how to actually deal with the patients, or will you be teaching theory?
Our back yard would be a great place to study. It's very peaceful...til the kids start running around. Here are some more pictures, our front porch this time. I just planted flowers last weekend:

Okay here is a little peek into the place I live in South Africa. These are just some pics I found of some roads in my suburb, nothing amazingly interesting. More to come.
Hopefully this will show you that not all of Africa is deep and dark. This weather and blue sky is very typical here, as summer lasts pretty much all year round.
