Wow, it's been a while since I got to do a concert summary - try January 2008 when J was in Morgantown!

I saw Jeremy perform last night in Charleston, W.Va. It has been way too long since he was in West Virginia! What an amazing concert. I went with people from my church. This was my third time seeing J and while last time I had front row tickets (thanks to my agreeing to volunteer before the concert) this time I was about halfway back in this old auditorium.

Bebo Norman opened with a few songs, that was my first time seeing him in concert and I recognized a lot of his songs they play on KLOVE. I thought it was funny when he joked about how J used to open for him! Natalie Grant was really good. That was my second time seeing her in concert.
After a 20 minute intermission, it was time for J!

I was so excited to see J perform and he did not disappoint..although I do wish he had played more "oldies."

He did Give Me Jesus and all I wanted to do was stand up..there were a few people scattered about the auditorium standing up, praising God and I got this overwhelming urge to do that too. Then he immediately went into a rendition of "Mighty to Save" at which the whole auditorium rose to their feet. I love singing that song with a large crowd.

I don't know if J signed afterwards or not. I would have loved to "meet" him again but my group had to get back. There's always next time. I haven't joined the thing you need to pay for to get meet and greet passes yet either since he comes so infrequenty this way but maybe I can afford it for the next concert.

During Bebo's set, I was checking my Twitter and J had just posted about his motorcycle ride and how beautiful West Virginia was. I'm glad he got to enjoy a little bit of Wild and Wonderful West Virginia!
