I really feel like this place on this new message board can be really strong and just as amazing as the older jeremy camp message boards, but it takes people to make it stronger. If you are a guy on here introduce yourself to the other guys and lets get this brotherhood section kicked off soon.

Nice to meet you Eric. My name is Brian. I am a huge Camp fan as well. I can't wait for his new cd in November. Wished I didn't have to wait that long.

Me 2, although it seems like Jeremy and the guys really finished in the studio a lot quicker that I thought it would take. I just can't wait!

Yeah, I was keeping up with the video podcasts and everything. They didn't take long at all. I enjoyed watching those. I am pretty excited for him about this new album. Hope that there will be a single released sometime soon.

I'm Labby, a 24 year old youth leader/bible student/pastoral intern/worship leader/motel night auditor. Only one of those positions is paid. I play guitar and bass, and run lots of sound for my church. Just don't ask me to sing high harmonies and we'll get along fine.

Welcome Labby and Malachi. Seems like we have a great group of guys here already. Worship leaders, video guy (myself), pastoral interns, worship leaders, and just students in college. This is already awesome. I can't wait to dig into the bible together and fellowship with you all.

Suggestion for everyone..put your name in your signature. Click control panel above and then edit your signature. It will help with knowing people by name.

Ah, but I prefer a modicum of anonyminity. People can call me Labby -- they'll never get me confused with anyone else.

In your case its alright because your name is your username.

Labby
05-14-2008, 03:59 PM
Actually, my username is a nickname. Only boardies use that one.

brianfalexander
05-14-2008, 09:00 PM
Oh I think i've caught onto that. So you don't mind if I called ya Steve? or Steven?

themadclipper
05-15-2008, 07:40 PM
I'm Chris, but most boardies call me Hoch (my old board pre-meltdown II name was Hochspeyer).

So, when do we get a ninja? :)

brianfalexander
05-15-2008, 10:09 PM
Awesome Chris. I had like a few hundred posts on the old boards, but never really got to know anyone. Hope that changes and that I get to know you all and have a lot of great discussions.

Ninja? What do you mean?

themadclipper
05-15-2008, 11:29 PM

Ninja.... We lobbied for the longest time to get a ninja smilie. It would be nice to have one here.

Labby

Ah, the ninja. The only drawback to getting the Ninja was we lost the Cider.

it was thesmartguy. I doubt you remembered me. I had a few posts in brotherhood over there, but not really that many.

Cool. Yeah, I think I saw a few, but then again, the guy's forum on the old boards was not horribly active. Hopefully we'll be a more kickin' group here.

How did things turn out? I was so happy to see a Camper in the thick of a real need. What was funny (that is, in a curious, sad way) was that the flood did not seem to get a lot of news attention.

Hey Guys, I'm Tim a Junior at The University of Toled in Ohio. I have been active in campus ministry since high school and continued it while in college. I'm an accounting and finance major here. Besides being packed with school and almost living at the church near campus, I am involved in Student Government where I am the Speaker of the Senate and a tour guide.

I enjoy listening/playing music (former brass player here), hanging out with friends, hiking/biking out in some of the parks/trails, and just biking around town. Also college sports a near and dear subject for me (football, some basketball, and some other UT or OSU sports).

Tim and Marcus its good to have you here. Tim my roommate at college is from Ohio. I get enough of his crap about my team, UNC, but I don't mind it since I don't pull for them in football season.

Marcus. What are you interested in?

Hello my name is Jacob and I'm currently a Boise State student. I'm going for a degree in Computer Networking with a little security tacked onto the side. This fall I will be learning Ethical Hacking and Countermeasures with some Computer Forensics.
I plan on using my skills in ministry but at this point it's hard for me to say exactly how that is all going to work out.
I also enjoy PC gaming...Call of Duty/GuildWars/Battlefield2/Battlefield2142/

I enjoy hunting and the outdoors and LOVE to shoot.
So far the only guns I have at the moment are a...
Springfield XD .45 ACP 5" Tactical
German Yugo made k98k M24/47 all matching numbers
Russian black bolt SKS with Tapco T6 adjustable stock and all matching numbers
Ruger 10/22
Last but not least my DPMS custom made AR-15

And thats about it.;)

when you look at it really, there are more 'weird' people than 'normal' people which in turn makes the 'weird' people normal and the 'normal' people weird

I'll bite, dude. As far as Campers go, I think I'm #2 in the actuarial category (MarkJames has me by a few years). I'll be 49 this week.
