Houston, we have a slight problem!

I had a few days off work recently & was going to buckle down & FINISH the secret project for J but my computer was acting up, so I decided to give it some rest for a while. Last weekend I decided to try again and now my computer won't even come on! :eek: I talked to a friend who said usually that indicates a problem with the fan or something & should in NO way affect the HD....so I haven't lost anything...I just can't get to it right now, so the project is at a standstill until he can look at it and see if he's able to recover my stuff for me. I won't be able to attend the June 25th show like I had originally thought, so I'm in no hurry to get it done. I'm just happy to know I haven't lost it all cause I would've CRIED! I still have all the emails w/ the photos you've all sent, but if I had to go through & resave them all, then redo the book with the new files, J would not be getting this book until 2012 :p

Pray for my computer though! I can't afford a new one right now and I'm limited as to what I can do on my Mini!

Hey all...it's last year's secret project...just not delivered yet because of concert schedules for Kelly and computer issues...so keep that in mind if you remember all of that stuff going around last year.

Yep yep....I'll have to double check but I believe I have stuff from both of you guys already so no worries :)

SOOOO bummed cause I was originally going to deliver the book June 25th :( For one, I won't even be able to go to that show now, but even if I did, I wouldn't have the book done in time. My friend didn't have a chance to look at my computer today, so next time he's in town, I'll have him check it out. In the meantime, I'm hoping J books more local festivals this summer! :)

Wow, Kelly. What a bummer. You put so much time and work into this project! I will pray for your computer and for the project.

I can imagine how disappointing it is that you can't go to the 6-25 concert. Is there anything else scheduled down there for J? He's not going to be here until the end of Oct., and it's 3 hours away. I'm feeling done with the long drives for concerts, but who knows if that will change as it gets closer. We'll see....
