Please pray for my daughter, Kristen. She has been ill, missing a lot of school, and the doctors can't seem to get her better. It's so hard standing by and can't take the pain away from my child. Awaiting some test results after second trip to the doctor in a week. Pray for some answers and healing please. God bless ~leigh

Wow...so sorry Leigh! I know how that is. My dad was rushed to the hospital a couple years ago because he got HORRIBLE headaches and he got one that just immobilized him...he couldn't breathe, he couldnt see...it was terrible....he had test after test after test done for days and everything came back negative until they finally found out what was wrong with him. I can imagine your relief as well as frustration every time a test comes back negative...it's almost as if you want it to come back positive, just so you have some answers! Still prayin' for ya!!!! Keep us posted!

I will love to pray for her, I knida know what it's like looseing someone, My brother-in-law's brother died and he wasn't even related to me and I was so upset, and when I wasn't born yet my sister was 2 and she passed away from a virus and the docters couldn't help her but somehow it's like I'm really close to her but I have never met her.

She is better but we are still battling w/ it. :confused:
It is hard when you pray w/ your daughter and she is verbally reaching out to God to take away the pain and it doesn't go away. She looks at me like "where is God? Has He gone on vacation when i need Him????" It has been stressful in that sense. I don't think they even make a face to express my feelings at the moment.

Hang in there meadow...keep a positive outlook and just keep praising Him for all the good in your life. My family has been through a lot the past year, medically. I know too well the sounds and smells of a medical helicopter flying a 13 year old away to be saved, and when he is, having to mourn the son he'll never be again and accept the son he's become. I know the pain of a 6 year old asking, "Mommy, am I going to die?" and praying to God when I tell him "no" that I'm not telling him a lie! It's so draining on the mind and body waiting for test results. I keep watching the news and seeing all the hurt in the world and am grateful for what I've been given. Things could always be worse. My son could have died, my other son could have had the cancerous tumor instead of pectus carinatum that he was just diagnosed with. We all have crosses to carry, sometimes they're just heavier than others. You will get through this and it will make you stronger and make life all the more precious. Your family will be in my prayers daily. God Bless and take care!

We're doing better. the doctors think it's Kristen's meds that is causing the issues, but she can't be taken off the medicine nor can they switch her meds as for now so we are just taking it one day at a time. Praying and seeking God. God keeps revealing more of Himself to me through His word. leigh

We have managed to cut 2 of her medications in half!!! She is doing much better! Her dad came into town which always seems to turn upside down. Kristen asked him questions about why did I divorce him? Kristen already knew the truth and I guess wanted to hear what he would say. Can you believe he said, "I don't know why your mom divorced me." Can any more words express why? than what a lie he just said????
How many people have been divorced and not known why they are being divorced???- we went before a judge:eek:
He did fess up to it just being pure laziness for him not to call her and said he was going to start calling her at least once a week. I told her that would be great if that was what she wanted, but if he didn't not to get upset because he is good for making promises but not keeping them. i just don't want her to get her hopes up and her heart get broken. it's been an emotional roller coaster lately will all that's been going on.
