Okay- another export thread. Post your rides, thoughts about your current/dream rides, or driving games here. I'm still trying to get a concensus in our family to agree that we need a PS3 so that I can get the F1 game.

I'm currently driving a '92 Honda Accord with over 240K on it. Still runs pretty good.

But my dream car is a '60 Corvette convertible. I've done a little research, and that car is the most drool-worthy of the 'vettes.

I just need about $150,000 to get one...

FP, I've always thought right hand drive cars were totaly cool. Back in the day a friend of mine had a right hand drive VW Bug which was rare in So Cal. He'd let me drive it all the time. What a trip !! Very weird at first but got used to it pretty quick. Peace !!

Right hand drives are forbidden in our roads.

Fireproof, you're Fiat Bravo looks like a small Maserati Quattroporte.

I currently drive a Toyota LiteAce. Some pictures next time. But it has been very reliable, no break-downs or major repairs these 12 years. But we have a Honda Jazz with 35K kms on it and we love it.

But my dream must own cars of the future are electrics vehicles.

Crossing my fingers if my bike can fit inside.
But my city car would probably an electric version of this one.
http://www.autoblog.com/media/2006/06/mitsubishi-i-in-motion-resized.jpg
Top speed is 130kph and goes to 160 kilometers in 1 charge. The Mitsubishi "i"

My dream gas guzzlers would be a Mercedes Benz W124 E500 or a 1995 E-Class Turbo Diesel. Mitsubishi Pajero and Toyota Land Cruiser LC200.

We've been thinking about a new vehicle for a while now. We can't afford it just yet, but we looking at vehicles like the Psion xB or Honda Element.

Square, like us.

These days, the biggest thing to look at is gas mileage. I hear good things about the Prius in that regard.

the honda element is awesome, but you cant buy it here because and to quote honda 'we have already so many quality cars to chose from'. Top gear reveiwed the element and lvoed and upon hearing the above statement they counted 2 quality vehicles honda sell here.

You can import it from japan though (right hand drived there) and its got the same engine as the accord so your honda dealership can maintain it. Top gear recon you can import it and itl cost a total of maybe £16000 which is only a few hundred more than the new price of my 1.9 bravo dynamic multijet!

The Element is a great vehicle. Spacious, funky, and probably iconic in some ways. But it lacks a diesel engine.

I hope manufacturer's can have a Diesel + Electric for lesser compromise in mileage. Diesel gets better mileage on the highway while electric is better in stop and go traffic in the city.

i'm all for saving gas n all, but i'm going for the "use as much gas as possible" approach. i want either a '03 Dodge Ram 1500 or a '03-'02 Ford Mustang GT. gotta have the V8! i already have my plans for them... (:

I currently drive a 1990 Olds Delta 88 with 195,000 miles and a smashed back end. But it's reliable.

I'd have to disagree with you there and go with the '57.

And with the gas prices the way they are(actually even without them being high), I'd love to have a Tesla Roadster. Completely electric(not even a backup gas tank), 0-60 in 3.9 seconds and 220 miles per charge. Not to mention that it looks pretty awesome.

I just saw a Mercedes Benz W115 on an ad. Makes me want to buy it from an owner who just wanted to dispose the car. Too bad. I have no budget for it. :(

I like this car so much not because it owns the record of being the longest running car but because I think it has some character into it.

It really doesn't take much to beat someone off the line with a stick and the right car. That, and choosing one's opponents wisely. For example, my 100% stock '99 Escort with a 5-speed (and high flow air filter) can easily take a 'Vette with an auto driven by a guy who thinks he needs Viagra and cheats the line before the light turns green.

On the other hand, I will not mess with a punk in a late model tuner revving his engine while waiting for the light to change.
