Tornado Woes

Hey guys, My neighborhood experianced a small tornado Friday night. I heard the sirens and then the power went out..so I really didnt know what all went on till morning. Thankfully me and Jesse were fine. There was no real damage to my house expect a couple of missing shingles, trees down, debris everywhere, and we lost power till 7pm sat. Some of my neighbors we not as lucky. Huge trees were uprooted and one went thru a neighbors bedroom. The gal next door still is without power and the railroad crossing gates were taken out.


Much more damage was done a few blocks up where a roof was taken off an apartment complex and 18 people were injured. The was a terrible loss of material items also. So please keep the Indy NE side in your prayers as we clean up this mess. I think there is still almost 30,000 without power.

Cara, so thankful you and the boys were safe through the tornado. That is so scary to experience. Praying for you and your neighbors.

Wow, Cara! Thank God you and Jess are safe!!! This is the first I've heard about it. I'LL be praying for the injured, those without power and everyone who lost material goods. Strange weather lately, heh?

Hey Cara,

Glad you and the boys are safe. They were just saying on the news that 10,000 people are still without power at this time.. The apartments that was damaged, from my understanding, thats the same one that my friend was getting ready to move into..the start of next month. So its a good thing that she decided to wait a few months to move down there after college.

yes we are still cleaning up in my area from friday night and there were more tornadoes around Indy last night....some have been injured and killed. More storms tonight....gooodness.....kinda scary....

On the up side.....I have finally gotten to know many of my neibors and my community is draing closer together.

Those storms were CRAZYYYYY last night!!!!!! Wow What a lightening show!! My best friend is a Camp Atterbury (Indiana Army National Guards) and he said there was a tornado about a 1/2 mile way. Lucky he wasnt hurt!!
