Last fall, Jeremy ministered at a small conference/event entitled FreeFall '07. It was held at a church, and I believe Jeremy was surprised by the size of the sanctuary. But the message he delivered, along with the music, was exactly what I needed. In the middle of one of his sets, in his sharing time, he used an analogy of a recent drought they were experiencing in his town. He paused to explain that this wasn't the message he had planned to deliver, but that it must be what the Lord wanted to say to someone.

I don't know if the Lord had those words for anyone else, but it was a kiss from the King to me. Jeremy talked about experiencing a drought/wilderness in your walk, and the importance of immersing yourself in God's Word- to keep watering with God's Word until He rained down on you, even when it seemed like the situation was impossible. And he reminded us (me) of the promised harvest, and the added beauty because of the drought. I'm not sure if Jeremy shared this passage, or if I found it after his message, but Isaiah 30:20-21, 23 summed up his analogy beautifully, and offered me such hope.

I want to thank Jeremy for his ministry, and for his obedience to the Holy Spirit and the Lord's leading. I know that small venues might not be top priority for many artists, but I wanted to thank Jeremy and his team for accepting this invitation. I praise God for it, and feel blessed that the Lord would work in such a way for me. It truly made me feel like a beloved daughter of the King-and was an answer to prayer. So thank you, Jeremy. Thank you for sharing your gift, thank you for your ministry, and thank you for your obedience to our Lord.
