i was there...crying through most of the show. did you get any videos of Cinderella? him and his band made me proud that they were like showing that God can carry you through really hard times...along with the good. I loved the end...when we sang to him...will never forget this weekend.

I wanted to be there so bad! I can imagine that most people there were in tears. I know I would have been. I was just watching the videos. What song did you all sing to him? Was it planned out? That's so cool!

The videos are from someone else, I don't know them. Yes, one was of him singing Cinderella. Very moving!

Laura, did you go to Lifest? I've never been to it. I've always wondered what the layout of the campus is like for wheelchairs.

it is really rocky cause it is our fairgrounds. but it is good i guess. idk. Geoff Moore(his best friend) led us in "Mighty to Save", and we had either candles or cell phones...there are pics of it on his manager's blog thing. cool thing about it was on Sunday we had Sonicflood and this band called NoonDaySun do worship. NoonDaySun sang that song that day. they weren't there on Friday....wheels4jesus you might want to call the Life Promotions office for more info about that.

I am sure there were many shed tears during Cinderella
I know that we all wish it had not happened?
What would this little girl grow up to be? and what would she have done?

Been praying for the Chapman family so much.Like every night before I go to sleep.I am worried about them but I know God will heal their hearts. It will take time.I saw the youtube video and it was so moving and all I can say is just wow,my heart feels so heavy for them.Just want to hug the whole family and tell them I love them and just help them.

I have never been to Lifefest though.Have seen the This Moment tour three times last year though.

Praying for you Chapman family. You are being loved so much by so so many of us fans.

No, I didn't go this year. I went last year, though. I didn't pay specific attention, but if I remember right, I think it would be ok for wheelchairs...if it didn't rain. If it did, it might be pretty rough terrain for ya. If Jeremy goes next year, I'll be there. Maybe you could go up for that day at least if the weather looks good.

I wonder why he wasn't there this year....:(

if it rains anything like it did this year you will have a hard time. like getting stuck and everything. there was huge puddles. at one point the people next to us and across from them were like floating from that stuff.

Sounds like the country music festival I want to in Codot (sp?), WI about 15 years ago. It was pouring all day and mud all over the place beecause like Lifest it took place in a field. When we got to the hotel after that night my mom had to take my chair in to the room in a black trash bag and stick it in the shower to rinse it off before I could get in it from the car.

I wish they had carts or something for people to rent for the day instead. Then I probably wouldn't really care. lol Does it rain pretty much every year? Doesn't sound like I will go if its like you all say. :(

it seem to. like not every day though. they do have golf carts that can take you from place to place, they are called rovers, you would just need to find someone w/ a walkie talkie to get them sometimes.... you most likely would be able to use one of those(just tell the person drive where you want to go). It wasn't really all that muddy in the grandstand area(stage not acutally grandstand)...so it might be okay. oh yeah..this is the reason i came here is the set list from his manager for the 1st concert back(click the link):

I heard about the interview on K-Love when I was driving home and the dj asked everyone to pray for them during the interview and played the Cinderella song and his new one that will be on the new album.

I prayed. The new song is amazing by the way. The DJ said he changed the lyrics on the last part in light of what happened to his family.

oh that isn't really "new" it is just a redone version of the song. it was on the album that came out last October. I love the last verse...I was in the crowd that first heard it. wow...last night I was crying during the home videos that they showed...and yeah.

I missed the Larry King interview when it was first on, but was flipping channels at 3AM while waiting for the new Phil Wickham to download and saw SCC on the screen. So I got to watch to re-run of the interview until 4AM. They're such a strong and loving family. It was nice to see the whole family and hear their thoughts on what happened and what the future holds.
