I need your opinions...

Hey girls!

So I went on this retreat that my bf wanted me to go on called Antioch. Antioch isn't just a retreat, it's like their youth group. I made some really great friends at Antioch. Brad (my bf) has this friend Cody. He's a great guy, and he always asks if Brad and I will be going to Antioch sunday.

This is where I need your help.

I thought Antioch was great. I got a couple of good things out of it, but I don't think that Antioch is for me. The people there are great, but I don't know anyone and I don't feel like that is my place. I have my own youth group that I love so much and I feel like I belong there.

I don't know if I should tell Cody and Brad that I don't think Antioch is my place. I don't want to hurt them saying it because I know Antioch changed their lives and it means a lot to them. But it just wasn't for me.

Should I tell them that I don't think it's my place or should I just keep it to myself??

I'm confused because you said you made some really great friends at Antioch and then later you say you don't know anyone. So, which is it?

i would say tell him that you enjoy the time at that church but that your heart is still at the church you go to and the youth there....truth is always the best answer and if he truly loves God then he will understand...its like if you wanted him to go to your church and he said he prefers his home church...so go with the truth ...but tell him you will also visit his too...take turns....and god bless....
