My niece is almost here!!!!

It's getting down to the wire!!! My sister-in-law is due on July 16th! But she really feels like she's gonna come sooner. You should see the girl...her stomach is pointing straight out! Hehe...it's the wildest thing any of us have ever seen :p But her last birth was NOT easy. My nephew was born with plagiocephaly (a flattened skull), so he didn't come out very well. We were all sooooo amazingly blessed that it wasn't craniostenostosis (premature fusion of the skull). That would've required surgery and could've caused major problems and could have potentially been fatal! But he had to wear a helmet for several months to reshape his head and he made a full recovery.

Well I kinda got off there a little....but I just wanted to ask that you pray for my sister-in-law that this last month go well, and the birth especially! I know God is watching over that little girl in there already :) She's already pointed downward, so she's definitely ready to come out! I'm so excited! I can't wait to have another girl in the family!!! There aren't enough hehe

My sister-in-law had a sonogram yesterday and everything went well :) They said the baby looks just fine. My mom said she looks just like Hadyn :) I'm so excited!!!! These next three weeks are going to be the LONGEST EVER!!!! :p

Stephanie went to the dr. yesterday and they're going to induce labor on Tuesday. Not sure how I feel about that. I mean it will be awesome to have her a day sooner than she's due, but why induce labor if everything looks good? Oh well....I'm just happy that I'll FINALLY have that precious angel in my arms :)

They had another lady do the lesson today. Oh well hehe...we kinda did it together actually, so it was fun. Steph is at the dr as I type this and basically, they're either going to decide to induce labor tonight, or wait another 24 hours to see if she goes into labor and then induce her tomorrow night. I'll keep yall posted.

Ok so the official word is that she is scheduled to go in at 5:30am on Thursday to induce labor. However, she's already at 3cm so she could go into labor at any moment! :) I'll just have to keep updating when I get updated :p

She is 75% effaced!!!! We're SOOOOO close! She just might come tonight or tomorrow afterall :)

Nothing new to share yet....except a small prayer request. My brother came over last night and he was not feeling well at all....I say it was sympathy pains hehe....but he thinks he got food poisoning. So it's kinda good that Steph didn't go into labor last night because he was not up to the task and he was so worried about that. Hopefully he feels better today!

I'm off to VBS but I'm on call today so we'll see what happens, if anything.

I don't think they're very good hehe....last night I fell asleep right away, but I woke up every hour! Hehe

I'm very jumpy too...every time I hear a phone ring, I freak out :p

They're more like excited nerves though, not the oh-no-what-if-something-goes-wrong nerves, so that's good. I feel really good about it because Steph says she feels like everything is ok, and she would know more than any of us *wink*

Hahaha...it reminds me of a cartoon from when I was a kid. Yeah. A long time ago. The Flintstones. When Fred and Wilma had Pebbles, Fred was a nervous wreck. It was so funny. I was this way, too, when the kids were having their babies.

My mom and dad and I had lunch together today and we were talking about it and I go "Can you believe you're about to have FOUR grandchildren!" They both just about choked on their food! Hehehe

Well guess what.....

SHE'S HERE!!!!!!!!! :) I just got home from the hospital! We weren't expecting Steph to give birth till this evening, but we got a call at 9:30 and my brother said we had about an hour....so we rushed off to the hospital, and she was born about 3 hours later! :p Then we had to wait another excruciating hour and a half before we could see her. But she is ADOOOOOOOORABLE!!!!!!! I'm uploading pics now and will post them in just a few....

Here are her stats:
Name: Lyla Marie Williams
Height: 20.5 inches
Weight: 8lbs

And she has HUUUUUUUUGE feet just like her brother, so she's probably gonna be just as tall hehe

But praise God, it was a VERY easy birth for Steph! Lyla got a little scratched up from bouncing around on the way out, but she's just fine otherwise :)

Yeah we think she was doing that because as you can see her face is all bruised from the birth...so it might have been irritating her because she kept rubbing it. They said that would heal quickly though. It was so awesome...she just slept the entire time we were there, then finally when we were getting ready to leave, I was handing her to mom and she kinda woke up and let out a little whine...sooo cute!

Thanks for all the prayers guys!!! Things could NOT have gone any better this time around! :) I'm just sad that I don't get to see her again for about 2 weeks :( It's hard being the aunt sometimes hehe...BUT....my nephew is staying with us overnight tonight, so I'll get to spend the day with him tomorrow....no VBS for me.
