Guys,
i am totally blown away. Some of you on the old boards might remember i was hoping to go to atlanta fest this year...and well, here I am job hunting and doing what i can to keep a roof over my head thanks to God and caring Christians helping out in this tough time. Well, tonight a friend who works for one of the two Christian radio stations in the atlanta area knew i wanted to go and promised to look into it. Tonight, he gave me two tickets given to him by an assoicate of his that he had a meetign with this week...who is one of the people in charge of the Atlanta fest event. So I can share with a friend who will drive and accompany ther eon Saturday. And tonight, a young adult friend from church knocked on my door and gave me somethign he printed out from online, telling me God told him to do this for me...and it was yet another ticket...praise God!:) Hoping to be able to use some of the full tank of gas someone blessed em with this week to drive from newnan to stone mountain on friday if i can manage it...so i can support jeremy and also another band of mine from my area called Living Anthem. Hope God will bles sme again with the occasion to meet Jeremy...maybe i will find more than a few nervous speechless words to say this time:) God is good:)

Thanks guys...I am still blown away and praising in spite of everything! Needing a miracle though. As usual when major joy happens in my life, the devil usually tries to come against me...and there must be a reason he doesnt want me there at the concert tomorrow. This cold/congestion I have been trying to fight since sunday suddenly turned ugly early thursday morning at 3am...i woke up and my eyes were watering with a flow of tears sticky like there was a film blurrign them...and red. The cough and congestion and fever were bad too...so I woke up this morning and learned about the palmetto clinic where they treat peopel with little or no money and no insurance and I drove aroudn liek crazy trying to gather the few documents i needed to prove my "situation"...and made a hard choice to sell my dvd recorder i found at a pawn shop in 2007 as it would give me the 25$ i needed for the required co-pay. Unfortunately once I made it to the clinic 25 minutes away i was informed that the doctor would have to leave at 2pm and that i would have to return again first thing in the morning for my appointment at 9:30. So I am hoping and praying I can get some free meds and maybe free antiobiotics. No doubt this is the usual cold turns to sinus infection/bronchitis (catching and gettign over a "normal cold" is impossible for me...no matter what i do it turns ugly). So already my full tank of gas is becoming a little over half a tank and i have to drive back tomorrow to the clinic...and then to fayetteville saturday morning to meet my friend warren at his house so we can leave early and get to stone mounain on time. I am praying for God to provide a way for me to get there tomorrow to see Jeremy and the others..better health...i mean, i dont want to infect j and my other bands...so if worse comes to worse i will pull up close enough to say hello, politely avoid handshakes and contact and get away quickly....and to find a way to get the money to refill my car and have a little for the parking fee. After all the trouble my friend Jonathan went through to buy me that one ticket as a surprise...i would want to enjoy it and be able to let him know how great everythign was...rather than end up giving it away to someone on saturday...not that i mind or am against the idea...that was the first thing that popped into my mind...but i am old fashioned too i like to treat gifts given to me with honor...i definitely dont beleive in re-gifting at birthdays and christmas because i didnt like the gift like so many do:) So keep me in prayer guys to find a way, surely i have got to have a few junk dvds and other things i could sell at hastings or a pawn shop lying around and forgotten since i moved into this motel studio room a year ago...thanks:)

So sorry to hear that! I'll be praying! Just so you know, I was battling a horrible case of the flu for three weeks up until the night of my first J concert. The day of the concert was the first day I felt good!!! It will all work out! I just know it! :)

Praying and believing for you to get better and receive the blessing that you WILL get at the concert.
I feel a little weird saying this, but last night I was so moved in prayer for people who are hurting, I asked the Lord if I could take on some of what they have to lessen their hurt. I know that's weird, but it just came out in prayer and there is was. So. Last night I had a migraine all through the night and woke up with a raw and sore throat today. I don't know anyone with a cold, not even a daycare child. (Shocking, because there is usually one with a runny nose.)
I'm not sure if what I said was wrong or not. I think I'll ask my husband about it when he calls.

Wow Laura...you know what though, that happened to me too! A while back when J asked us to pray for his voice, I did, a lot! *wink* Then the next morning I woke up with a sore throat :p I think it's just a part of God's sense of humor hehe
Hope you feel better today!

Well, this sore throat has turned into a horrible cold. The worse part is I can't smell or taste anything. Well, since I do daycare, not being able to smell can come in handy. Oops. Wrong thread.
