Well it started last year and obviously didn't work out. I had one interview in October that went REALLY well, but I found out afterwards that the lady had intended to hire someone else the entire time. I hate that they waste your time like that, but at the same time, I'm glad to at least have a teaching interview under my belt! Makes the next one a LOT less scary!
Well it's now May and the positions are starting to open up again for next year. I sent out a resume to one school with three openings and without even being granted an interview I was told that they were already considering other candidates for the job. Talk about striking out in one pitch! :p
But now a whole new round of openings have come up! There are two school districts here....at one district there are 2 kinder openings and a 3rd grade opening. At the other there is a kinder, a 1st, and a 3rd grade opening!
Needless to say, I'll be sending out a new round of resumes tomorrow! Wish me luck and pray for me! I know that God's will is going to be done in this.
