So im not a fan of facebook but a friend of mine asked me to get it to keep intouch as we go our different ways (friends since grade 1!) and so i got it and then alot of friends added me and this is what one person wrote in the Honesty Box (saddest part you dont know who it is but it ticks me off that they can not say it to my face... but it reads:

"Your 'savior' is nothing but written word; conceived my man and used as a crutch to have something to lean against on. I hope you one day can see past the lies that have been indoctrinated upon you by the Christ loving media."

This is what they gave me after i wrote a note about my Savior... it was kind of depressing just cus of all the changes going on in my life but i was like god i pray for this person that you would just help open their eyes and see you there.... and more stuff....

God Bless

He's probably just repeating garbage he's hearing from the media and such. You just let your light shine and you will draw souls to Jesus through your love. It's sad, though, I know. Keep praying.

Jesus Bless You~

I find it absolutely amazing how people can twist the truth. "Christ loving media?" Really- they probably complain about the conservative bias in the news as well. (In other words, they are deluded and don't have a leg to stand on.)

That being the case, they could probably use a crutch.

In the words of Brad Stine, if Christianity is a crutch, Atheism is a coma.

Do you mean Ben Stein?

And my reaction was, "Christ-loving media? What are they smoking and why aren't they sharing?"

(pretty standard response to anything weird when I was in high school)

Nope, Brad Stine, he's a Christian comedian.

all you can do is bless them and try to show an example of what Jesus does for you and the difference it can make, that may change thier mind!

Actually, most belief's today are "nothing more" than written words. I have been thinking about this on and off for some time. The person disparaging your professed belief, I would guess, is completely lost (even by the world's standards), because if all you have is written words, what does this person base their life on?
