I thought it was interesting how you remarked "If you look at my life even four years ago, I have changed." Same here! I can't believe it's already been four years since I've followed your music!

Anyway... I realize that you're talking about changes spiritually, and I can say that I myself have changed. But I just wanted to comment about your change as a person... you haven't changed!!

I was watching you in the line... two people in front of me, there was a guy sharing a story with you. You zone out everything around you and tuned in ONLY to that guy. I remember that look well, you did the same thing to me four years ago.

That's probably the major reason I still come talk to you in the lines and follow your music so closely.... you are the real deal!!

Can't wait to see you in COLUMBUS (soon hopefully)!!

Oh, and I forgot to mention - I love the old school hair! Brings back memories. :D

Todd, it's funny you would mention how Jeremy zones out everything else except for the person he's talking to. I have noticed that, too, but inside I still feel pressure (from me, not him) to hurry. It's because I can't imagine singing my heart out/ putting all that energy into everything up on the platform, then having to talk to so many people afterwards without getting cranky. So I feel like I want to say what I have to say fast so he can finish and then wind down and get some rest. But you're right. He never makes me feel rushed or like he's just tolerating my nervous babbling. He's very much a gentleman.

I agree....I felt like my M&G was soooo short, but it was more on my side. He was very into each person he met and when he got to me, he even knelt down to talk to me. That was very cool :)

Yeah, I will never forget it. He said, "Thanks for the encouragement" and I was floored. I just got through telling him what an encouragement he was! The humility was astounding, and is as of yet unmatched by any Christian artist I've met.

I've even seen him once put his hand on a poster of a kid he just signed for when he turned around to talk to security. He wanted to make sure he personally greeted that kid, not give him the rush job that all too often occurs.

(Disclaimer: I realize that bands/venues do have tight schedules, and this is not to say that the other bands are bad people, but J always puts his all in each person he meets. Plus he has the people-person personality that makes it so much easier! It's hilarious how shy Rob (Pillar) and Trevor (TFK) are, and they're in these rock-out bands!)

^ I've noticed that a lot of the harder rock bands have somewhat reserved lead singers off the stage. Like I was talking to Matt Shelton, the new lead singer of The Wedding, after a set they played and he was such a quiet and polite guy. It was surprising since not even 20 minutes before he'd been screaming in my face and shoving a mic in my face to sing along with him.

One of the only lead singers that I can think of off the top of my head from a rock group that's really outgoing is Ben Olin from This Beautiful Republic. That guy will talk with anyone about anything. He's great. lol

Hey! I'm in Columbus too! I think I saw where there is going to be a "smaller" Creation here in Grove CIty. ( September??)
I live in Dublin, Ohio....I drove to PA to see CREATION Fest. My first time there, and what a MAJOR blessing. I"m still feeling like I'm walking 100 ft off the floor on Monday and even being back to the old grind.
Jeremy reminds me of my new Son-In-Law that used to play in "The Elms". When asked who/what I liked best about Creation, it's a no-brainer it was definately Jeremy Camp. I've been listening to him for years, but until I saw him "LIve" this weekend did I have a newfound respect for him...the way he lead the audience in worship was fabulous!

That put tears in my eyes.

That is exactly what I've heard time and time again. It was the same with me.

Some people give me a hard time for being such a "die hard fan" (I'm a grandma). It's those people I target to get to his next concert! LOL. Viola! They suddenly understand why I respect and admire Jeremy Camp and love going to his concerts. It's a beautiful worship experience. Jesus is in the center of it all and Jeremy is the guy who leads us in worship. AWESOME!:)

Yeah, it's really hard to explain why I do what I do until people attend a "concert" or meet J themselves!
It's about the Jesus in Jeremy, not Jeremy.
