its a funny story. we knew that he was going 2 sing @ this camp, but we didnt know what he looked like. so he was behind the stage and my friend went up 2 him and said hi. we're like, "are u the singer?" and he said, "yep." we talked a while and then went 2 watch the concert.

I met Michael W. Smith about 5 years ago and I nearly cried when I did, haha. I didn't know I was going to meet him until just a few days before the concert. I think it was the type of seats we had gotten. It was at church in Brentwood, TN so it was mainly pews, but still. So we got to the church early and went down to the basement where Smitty was gonna be meeting the fans. We got in the room with everybody else that was there to meet him and waited for a while. Then somebody came in and told us all to get in a circle so it would be easier for Smitty to get to everybody. Then I saw him come in and I was like "Mom! there he is!" I got a little excited, haha. So went went through the line and when there were just a few people in front of me, I got teary eyed for some reason. Then I got up to him and talked to him for a second and had him sign a CD cover of his for me and got a picture with him. After that, I started crying as we were going to our seats. Not sure why I did, but I guess I love Smitty so much and have been a fan for so long, it was so cool. The concert was great because it was in somewhat of a smaller place and we were a little closer to MWS than we would be in a bigger venue.

I also saw him the next year in Nashville around Christmas, and that was fun too, the Katinas and Point of Grace were there. :)

haha...I saw them like a month ago at Lifest...didn't stay for their whole show though. yeah...last time before that they were with my favorite local band(which they are like 6 over all) called Cycledown. yeah i have never really talken to the Rex Lex guys besides Beau. and that is cause my brother told him that he almost took me out.

I really wanna meet MWS, SCC and Newsboys...growing up on their music does a lot for a person.

YET.... :o the only show of his that i went to that i actually cared about his music, was a few months ago... and i was NOT feeling too well afterwards.. so we had to leave.. :( (its a good thing we did too, cause when i got home my stomach was hurting so bad i couldnt move)... hopefully that at least gets me out of a little trouble..

i have met day of fire, pillar, kj-52, and 33 miles once back in 07, it was a 2 day concert.was a good show at a good price all for fifteen bucks. all bands were friendly and excellent live all of them. josh from dof sprayed me with water like twice lol but it felt good. I also met contry singer wynonna judd 2 times, once backstage, the other time i stood before her and grabbed hand, then my mom handed her flowers, thousands of people were all looking at me, i was almost frozen in the moment lol. it was cool though she danced on the stage with the flowers for like 3 songs. i wish i had a scanner i would post pics.

Well, this past week I got to eat lunch with the guys from Satellites and Sirens! God surprised me with a pair of VIP Passes to Air 1's Appreciation Tour Concert. That night my sister and I got to meet Everyone from the other bands too, (Manic Drive, The Wrecking, and The Red Airplanes).

I also did something completely goofy, too. They were throwing water bottles from the stage at the end of the concert and I caught one... Then I got the brilliant Idea to sign it and give it to oneof the guys in S&S... I felt like a dork, but it was fun! lol
