I thought it would be fun to have "Ratings" area. I know that Jeremy doesn't write songs with the thought of them reaching the #1 spot. That's not his goal or purpose, which I think, is one of the reasons why he's so successful as an artist. He writes what the Lord lays on his heart and sings to worship Him.

Do any of you listen to 20 the Countdown Magazine? It's on here on Saturday and Sunday nights from 6 to 8. Let it Fade went back and forth to #1 for a few weeks with Matthew West's "You Are Everything". Then it went to #1 for about 5 weeks. It's been climbing back up now for the past 2 or 3 weeks and is #5 now.

I'm on the 102.5 Life Listener Survey Team. Our radio station sends out weekly or bi-weekly surveys to see what songs their listeners like the most. We rate them on a scale of 1 to 5 and also say if we want them played more, less or the same as they are currently being played. It's really fun to do. Of course, I always rate Jeremy's songs a five (best score~ "LOVE it") and also that I want it played more. I think Amy, WheelsforJesus, is on the team, too. Do any of your radio stations have this? Anyway, then they send us the results. "Let it Fade" was #3 for quite awhile. And I think it's awesome that "Walk By Faith" is still in the top 10 of listener favorites.

If I'm not mistaken, I think every one of Jeremy's single releases has hit #1. Is it 13 of them now? Or 14? I've lost track.

Way to go, Jeremy. Keep singing for Jesus!

That sounds fun our radio station only does that with new songs and all you get to say is if you want them off the air or if you love them. O and I think he has 17 hit singles but could be wrong.

Yup, I am on the 102.5 FM Listener Advisory Team. I love it! Great perks like getting in to meet and greet with Building 429 and getting reserved seating in the front row since we were still in the m&G when the doors opened to the public. Its not just being able to put my 2 cents in on the music choices. :p

That was a lot of fun. Jackson Waters was there too. I felt bad for them though when I met them. The night before the concert the guys from Building 429 played a prank on Jackson Waters and took the hub caps off of their van. Well, that same night their van was broken into and ALL of their equipment and instruments were stolen. They thought Building 429 was pulling another one on them but it was a true situation. They were a little down since the incident jsut happened, but got lifted up when they came in to the M&G as well with the other band....after some coaxing from everyone though. They were in another room and the Building 429 guys went in and told them that we all wanted them in there.

And I too give all of J's songs a 5 and say play more! :D

If everyone joined their local radio stations listener advisory team (if its available for their area and station) just think of how much J could be heard and the people that could be reached for the kingdom!

Jeremy was at #5 again this week for "Let it Fade". Time for a new release so we can get another #1 going. What would you like to see released as his next single? I wonder when they start releasing songs from the new album. I would think it would be before it's out so it gets people interesting in buying it. (Of course all of us will be buying it anyway, but I mean the general public.) :)

"Let it Fade" is now number 7. Here is a link to the site. There is a lot to look at. Sactus Real is the Featured Band this week. And do you know who that is at number 20?! She's been there for a few weeks now. Take a peek.

"Let it Fade" remains at #6. (20thecountdownmagazine.com)

Also, for the "Praise and Worship" countdown, Jeremy's "You're Worthy of My Praise" is at #16.

And, I just found on the site that in 2005 "Take You Back" was the #ONE song of the year , in 2006 "This Man" was #11 for the year and in 2007, "Give You Glory" was #5 song of the year!!

The songs are rated by how many radio stations add them each week, and I think, how many times they were played that week. (Not sure about that part). So this means that those songs ministered to more people than most other songs played in those years.

By the way, you should check out their website...the "Gallery" has hundreds of pictures of different artists! It's awesome!

From www.melodic.net:

Four studio discs, one live album, 16 No. 1 songs, five Dove Awards, three ASCAP Songwriter of the Year wins and an American Music Award nomination only scratch the surface of the accolades that follow the name Jeremy Camp. However, on the heels of his fifth studio release, Camp has set his prize on sharing his message loud and clear with fans come November 25, 2008 with the aptly titled release, Speaking Louder Than Before (BEC Recordings).

The album's first multi-format single, "There Will Be A Day," has been # 1 most added at R&R's AC, CHR and Inspo formats. At AC Monitored, AC Indicator and CHR "There Will Be A Day" had the highest debut the week it entered the chart; at CHR and AC Monitored the song had the biggest spin increase on the chart and is already in rotation at nearly 70 reporting stations in just two weeks. See below what radio stations are already saying about this inspiring, melodic single, which will be available for download on iTunes beginning September 23rd.

The celebrity motorcycle ride and concert was held this past Sunday, October 5th. The participants biked from scenic Williamson County through downtown Nashville, ending at Riverfront Park with jam session, which featured event founder Dierks Bentley in addition to Camp, Tim McGraw and other country artists. In the two previous years, "Miles & Music for Kids" raised more than $250,000 for Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.

With less than two months until the release of Speaking Louder Than Before, Jeremy Camp's new single "There Will Be A Day" is shooting up the radio charts on all formats. The single has been the most added at AC Monitored, CHR, and Inspo every week since its release. In the last two weeks, the single has picked up 26 new markets and has gained more than 1.2 million new audience impressions.

The song is also available on iTunes and debuted at No.1 on the overall Christian song chart and the only Christian song in the iTunes Top 100 on release week. The upcoming release was produced by Grammy-winning producer Brown Bannister (Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Third Day, Rich Mullins).

For more up-to-date information and daily blogs from Camp and his band, visit the newly launched website: www.jeremycamp.com. Also see below for the remaining fall dates for Jeremy Camp.

Just realized that KLove also has a Top Songs chart just like Air1...I thought for sure they would, but it's harder to find! Anyways, TWBAD jumped from #18 to #15 this week! Yay! For some reason KLove is way behind on getting it into airplay, so hopefully we'll be hearing it more soon and it'll jump up the chart :)
