I have been embracing life a lot lately. I've been walking right into storms and out on a sunnier side (not quite rainbows, but seriously blessed!). There has been a lot and again so blessed, BLESSED, BlESSED! God has given me many testimonies lately, but I will only share this one. I have had a lot I have been dealing with lately and Friday just added to it. On the 4th of July I was waiting on oncoming traffic to pass to turn into my parents' driveway and was rearended at a very high speed it knocked my car several yards. There was a police officer that wittnessed it. The driver of the other car hit his head and i have a lot of back and neck pain and stiffness. So thankful we weren't hurt any worse. Kristen wasn't with me another blessing! My brother-in-law said by me not having much gas in my tank saved me cause it could have blown up because the rear of the car was smashed into the fuel tank/pump. It was totally God, my life is in His hands! i feel so BLESSED! Sunday I was doing my devotion which lead me to Isaiah 58:8,9-
"8 Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you,and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard. 9 Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I."

The Glory of the Lord was most definitely my rear guard that day no doubt! The life that God continues to breathe into me has really had a positive affect on my mother hearing her talk about how she believes in prayer (even though I haven't seen her pray since I was a child)and hearing her call me sweetie for the first time in so long during all that has been going on means so much to me. That is priceless and worth every ounce of my pain and then some! I really think she sees the breath God continues to breathe into me as something more than just another day He has given me. It is so much MORE!
My car was totaled so I'm a bit stressed out about getting another car, but I know God will work thru this w/ me. I trust Him!

Peace today has come to many and on a personal note to myself. Thank you for being so faithful to each of us, Lord!

So they did total your car? The frame must have been damaged or something. Well, I'm still thanking God that you are safe. You have been through SO MUCH recently, but He has kept His hand of protection on you for sure!

Yes, they totaled it. i have some pics of it. i have a rental until Monday. The insurance didn't pay my car off in full so I still have about $700 to pay on it; which I'm hoping they can tac on to the the new loan for a car. Looking for another civic and prices on them are higher now since gas prices went up so HIGH. Everything has been a whirlwind i feel like my head is spinning because there is so much to do and so little time. i'm taking a short break at the moment. Got to do laundry and more phone calls and car looking. My back and neck are doing very well for the whallup I took. Had woman's prayer Monday and everyone prayed over me and i felt the pain lifting that night. All prayers are greatly appreciated too!
Thank you~ leigh

I'm so glad you got to the prayer meeting. The more of those kinds of things you get to, the greater your faith will be. That goes for all of us.

Praying you find a car, it's a good price, and in perfect shape.

Jeremiah 18

At the Potter's House
1 This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD : 2 "Go down to the potter's house, and there I will give you my message." 3 So I went down to the potter's house, and I saw him working at the wheel. 4 But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.
5 Then the word of the LORD came to me: 6 "O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter does?" declares the LORD. "Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel.

Lately I have seen myself more at the Potter's house being molded and shaped by His hands. Experiencing the weakness of the broken parts of the vessel reminds me of a kaliedoscope- the colors changing breaking away from each other and molding together into new shapes and colors always complimenting each other in one whole new unit. Taking many to come together and unite in likeness and beauty. Kind of like a rainbow it is made up of colors-all are same in likeness because they are all colors, but each are different colors that unite as one to meet together to form a rainbow. Without each color coming together there wouldn't be a flag of hope to gaze upon. We are each like those individual colors when we come together in prayer there is a foundation of faith established and bridges of hope meet the gaps in our hearts. You can see the colors of life meet daily just keep shining for Christ and the rainbow will prevail.
