Listener Advisory Teams

Who all has a listener advisory team offered through their local Christian radio station? LauraA and I are on the one for our area. If you do have one, I would say sign up. It should be free, and you can help in letting them know what you want to hear and there are always other perks. :)

Its a great way to get the word out about J's music as well.

You'll love it, Kelly! I think they know at our radio station that any J song gets the highest rating and "Play it more often" status! lol. VERY few others get that from me. Also, they have a comment section at the end, so I tell them things about concerts coming up and new albums coming out. I'm sure they probably know this stuff already, but at least it lets them know they their listeners are interested in this kind of info.

Amy, is your mom on it, too? Michelle is. (A friend and mom of a daycare gal I've been watching for 6 years. Your mom knows her. She's also a stamper!!! AND A JEREMY FAN!) lol

Nope, mom is not on it. She doesn't really have the time to always check her mail right away. So she wouldn't have the chance to get her survey in on time. But when they have perks for members and give the option of bringing a guest I always take her. So she gets the perks as well as me even though she is not on it.

Did you Jeremy Camp will be at the State Fair on 8/6? AWESOME! Also, his new album comes out Nov. 25th. He's doing a video commentary on each song. He asks for prayer and is very excited about the whole thing. So are we!

When I'm having a busy week, it can be time consuming and almost irritating to get, but then I remind myself what it means to these artists, and how important it is to fill the air with good music. It's important, and it's a blessing.

Got another survey today!!! :) This one was cool because they first asked about all the hot songs right now, then they asked about the older stuff...I told them to keep it up with the old Jeremy Camp songs! :) They play a WIDE variety of his stuff! :)

They MAKE us answer them hehe....they left a box for comments on the first one I did, but I didn't say anything. I just pressed submit and it said "You didn't answer all the questions" and on this one they asked what we thought about bringing some of the older songs back on air.

For ours, we have to answer the survey, but it's optional to answer the last couple questions. I ALWAYS say "More Jeremy Camp music" and "Get Jeremy Camp to Madison, please". lol. I think we're labled, Amy.

I goofed, I did see J and his new single on the list this time. I somehow got on the MN radio stations Listener Advisory Team too. lol So I give my 2 cents twice. lol

Really? I got my survey and it had "There Will Be a Day"...the second or third song down from the top. Of course I put that at #5 (Highest rating) and "Play More" (!!!) I'm hearing it at least once a day. Praise God!

I just got an e-mail yesterday about LATM (listener advisory team member) are getting an advance notice of a Chris Tomlin concert going on sale Monday to the public for a concert in January. We got today and tomorrow to get ours before the public can on Monday.

I forgot to call today though...ugh.....I hope to get a chance tomorrow. But if not on Monday then. The seats I have to get don't sell out too fast, so I should still have time.


But I do love the advance notices for pre-sales on concerts! :p

So I have this dilemma....I REFUSE to listen to Christmas music until Thanksgiving Day. But today I got an email from KLove...it's a survey of 200 Christmas songs that they want us to rate so they can decide which ones to play this season.
