My Father in Law

Would you all please pray for my father in law, Andy? We were told today that he's in the hospital due to some heart issues and chest pain. He went in for tests and they may be doing a bypass, angioplasty or putting in a stint, depending on the test results. We haven't heard a thing since we got the call this morning. Please pray that whatever happens, he turns his heart to Jesus.

My mother in law just called and said that Andy's heart has 2 blocked arteries. They didn't do bypass surgery because his heart is sending out feeder vessels which is getting the blood to the correct part of his heart. The doctor will be going in to talk to him shortly, so I'll know more soon. Your prayers are so appreciated!

No new news. Marcia just said the same thing I already posted, except that they are letting him go home tonight. Praise God he is still with us. He needs to submit to Jesus. It gets kind of scary when our parents get older....I guess I need to have more faith and pray more than ever before. Anyway, thank you soooo much for praying. Dan and I both appreciate it! Laura, i'm so sorry you all are going through this! I know Dan must be shaken. I praying for all of you and that God will use this to reach Andy and open up his eyes. He is such a fun loving person! I enjoyed meeting him both times when I visited.

Remember what I said about the late b-day card, sometimes things have there perfect timing even if they are late. I hope it puts a smile on Dan's face when he hears the Newsboys singing "SHINE". :)
