Right now I'm obsessed with WALL-E! I bought the official soundtrack today. It's AMAZING! :) It was such a cute movie, and the animation was beautiful.
I also loved Iron Man...there've been a lot of good movies come out lately.

Months. He died several months before the film was released. Heath Ledger's death prompted a lot of speculation as to the fate of the film until it the producers released that he'd finished all the work for his part (principal photography, voice dubbing, etc).
The filmmakers were very fortunate. When your star actor dies during production, it really makes filming difficult. Just look at Trail of the Pink Panther (Peter Sellers), Wagons East (John Candy), The Crow (Brandon Lee), etc.
Anyway, as for my favorite films, here's a sample:
The Lord of the Rings
La Reine Margot
Braveheart
Saints and Soldiers
The Passion of the Christ
The Dreamers
Just a sampling. Although I don't recommend most of these films to the casual viewer (The Dreamers, while one of my all-time favorite films, is also a film I will never see again due to content).

It's definitely difficult! On a smaller level, it's the same with TV as well...I remember when John Ritter died....they decided to write it into the show (8 Simple Rules) and keep going. It was strange at first, then they brought in David Spade, and I LOVE him, but it just wasn't the same anymore without the key character there.

I remember when John Ritter died. 8 Simple Rules was a show my family watched together. I remember watching the show about when and how he died. I was pretty upset about it. We never relaly watched it again after that.

Heh'. When I first read the question (title of the thread)... The very first thought that came to my head was: My life.. 'Cause actually, our lives are like movies. And the hardest part of literally BEING a movie, is the fact that you don't know what scenes will take place next. Ahhh the many different frames in life. One frame is a nightmare - the next it's beyond any of the most awesome dreams you can ever fathom - and all of the places inbetween. Constantly changing. And one of the hardest things is... when people judge you based on your current or past scenes in life. They aren't even anticipating what might happen next, which is a huge mistake. Nevertheless if they even get the opportunity to view more scenes, they will be in for a surprise.
Am I too metaphorical  Maybe..
Favorite movies... Hm. I'm not sure I have One favorite movie. But I'll have to think about it first.
