I thought we could have a thread that if you have a prayer request that you only want women to see, that you can post it here. Hopefully at some point this forum will be locked to the guys.

I know! I hope they can figure out how to lock this forum to female members soon. That is why I did the ALL CAPS in the title of this thread for the meantime. Hopefully the guys will respect us as we do them and just not look.

I have had a lumpy throat for quite awhile. My glands seem all swollen and I hear noise when I swallow. It feels like something is in my throat all the time. It's starting to make me a little nervous and I guess I need to go to the doc. But would you pray about this? Also, my left lung has been hurting, like right above my heart. Weird.

I will call him next week. I've been a little short of breath, too. But maybe that was from eating too much....;)

Laura, I'm sorry to hear you aren't feeling 100%. Please go to a Dr... I can tell you since my recent Dr's visit (that I was sooo nervous about) I have felt so much better since I got checked out and got it over with. It brings much relief. Just to know what you are dealing with gives peace of mind. I'm praying for you & you will be in my thoughts. Let us know if there is anything we can do.

^^^ Thank you for the concern you all. You're so sweet. I will be calling the doctor as soon as an insurance issue is taken care of. Hopefully soon so I can get this checked out. Thank you for praying. I appreciate it so much!

A dear friend of mine is having surgery today. Please pray that it goes well and is totally successful. Also that her recovery is fast and complete.

I haven't head how her surgery went, but I will probably hear today.

I'm feeling fine except for the feeling of my throat being full. It doesn't hurt at all. My glands are the size of walnuts just along my jawline...but you can't really see them. Maybe just a tad- or is that fat? lol. ;) But really, something is going on in there. I could have an infection and they are just working at getting rid of it, but I have no signs of infection anywhere. My thyroid glad seems swollen, too. Dan could even tell when I had him feel it. Hopefully I'll hear from the insurance company today and we can get on with this.
