I have been dealing with back spasms for about 2 weeks straight now. They are so painful. I could really use prayer. When they come on it jsut totally stops me in my tracks until they pass. Its only when I sit and never when I am laying down. I've had spine issues before. And a long time ago I delt with these for a few months straight. I had x-rays done and nothing showed up wrong. I do have scoliosis though. But nothing showed up pinched.

I'll be praying for you, Amy! I deal with back pain almost every day and I know it's not fun. Last week was really bad. I hope you feel better soon!
Hugs,
Laura

Thank you. :) It comes and goes, but today it's behaving pretty well. Actually, Dan took off work yesterday because his back was acting up. (With a migraine on top of it.)
Amy, have you seen a doctor?

No, I haven't seen a doctor about it lately. Just a few years ago when I had issues. But like I said they couldn't find out anything. I'm starting to wonder if its my matress. A few months ago I had major back issues. I went to the doctor that time and she put me on muscle relaxers. She felt how tight I was. I knew it was my mattess then, because when I got out of it you could see a huge dip in it....yikes. So mom flipped it. I don't see that on it now since flipping it before. But maybe I should look into getting a new matress. It is 7 or 8 years old.
But I really think its stress related. Laura, you know what's all been goinb on. That is when my pain started.

Either stress or certainly the mattress gets my scoliosis acting up, but I usually don't have spasms unless I really pull a muscle. Note: even if you flip a mattress, the springs in the center are still weak and not as supportive. Especially for those of us with built-in structural problems, it isn't a solution that works for long.
Praying for you!

I have to take potassium pills for my leg spasms. Maybe it will help your back. The pills and bananas help me alot. praying for you!
