there has been a bunch of spam o the boards lately. If anyone sees ay please dont reply and report it so it can be taken care of as soon as possible.

You rock Cara! It seems to have slowed down the past couple days, but I'll keep an eye on it! :) Found a couple and reported them for ya.

Thank you Kelly...the reports help because they take me directly to the thread. I also just figured out how to ban users so hopefully we can get the spammers out of here.

Oh good I was gonna ask...because it was the same users posting spam after you deleted them all, definitely need to get rid of them!

I reported a few more and there are SEVERAL right under this thread that have spam posts....not sure if you need me to report all those

Cara, are you deleting the individual posts, or the entire thread? Because most of the spam I've seen has occured in existing threads.

Deleting post unless the spamer has started a thread. I have now figured out how to pull up all the posts a spamer post and delete them at the sam time as well as bannig them. Soooo, if you notice a spambot I just need their screen name.

Cara, have you been able to talk to anyone in administration about this??? I wake up to a whole new round of spam every day by a different user, and it's not fair for you to have to go in daily and delete them all! Something has to be done at the administration level to keep these people or computers or whatever they are from even registering! I left messages with Jeremy and Matt, so hopefully something gets done soon!

Awwww man....just when I thought they were gone for good. Hey since their username pops up when we report, do we need to report every post by that "person" or just one?

Good question. I've just been reporting some pr0n spam by the same user.

*sigh* I really miss my buttons...

No just one report for one user is good than I can brig up all that they have posted.

I talked with the admin and he is now aware of the problem. He is going to work on raising the security measures.

Thanks...I am not really sure what the differance is yet with the Super Mod label...kinda makes me feel like I need a cape. :D

You will know it when you see it. Its usually random posts that our off topic with links to other sites.

It was just nessary for the security measures that have been set up.;) But I was able to fix the spelling in the prayer section.

And no they don't, we're armed with buttons and we know how to use them! Well, I'm sure yall do at least...I'm still learning hehe...and I noticed that we can undelete posts! Muahahahaha

no I still dont have the power to do that. First of all, the registration will have be changed so that we know wgo is male and female.
