Yeah, we're going down to Hoffman Estates Oct. 4th. Can't wait!! Are you going, Cara? It would be awesome if you could get over to IL for it. It's about 3 to 31/2 hours for us to go down from WI. How far for you?

our youth group isn't going this year...not really an interest last year so the youth pastor decided not to do it this year.

Maybe you could go with us...? We have a group going and you are welcome to join us. It will be several youth and a few adults. We're waiting for them to get us a price for just the concert and a couple hours Saturday afternoon.

when bands play at atf is it like a full set or is it more like little mini-sets from several performers (like when jeremy played at rock the boat for evan almighty, 5 songs, i was sad) does anyone know? i'm thinking of going to it in phoenix in november and i'm sure it will be an awesome experience either way, but i would still like to prepare myself for a quickie if that's how it's gonna be...

I've been talking to a lady with ATF, and she said Jeremy would play about 45 minutes or so.

We're so bummed! We (our youth and several adults) were planning on going to ATF in Hoffman Estates, IL. The thing is, we're coming down from WI and it's over a 3 hour drive. We couldn't get there until around noon, so we'd miss most of the event. So they were trying to get us a special price, which they did. It was very nice of them. The thing is, it would be $30 for each of us, and they said we'd be put in the back since those going to the event would get the best seats. So, the long drive there and back in one day, the price of tickets for 45 minutes, in the back of the church, the shorter set...it just wouldn't be worth it for everyone. Not to mention the gas cost for at least 2 vehicles, probably 3. :( So I told her we'd have to pass on this one. I'm SO bummed out because I have no idea when the next concert in WI or close by will be. We had all decided that if we could get in for $25 or less, and have seats on the floor (that is closer to the stage than "the bowl"), it would be worth going. So close......but it's not going to work.

Thanks, Kelly. I just missed a phone call and they didn't leave a message. Maybe they worked something out. I've been praying about it and maybe the Lord just reached down and did a little something to work it out. :) Hopefully, whoever it was will call back.

Anyway, if we can't go, we'll get to another one when he comes back this way.

I'm going to see if our youth department could go. I've already mentioned it and they seemed pretty interested. Either way I'll prob go, but I think it would something fun for our youth to go to. So I can't wait till March 6-7, and the best thing is that its like a 30 minute drive to the concert!

I was suppose to go to ATF with my friends on the 24th but then my youth pastor came up and asked if i could speak to the youth group that night and i was soo excited that i said yes like right away without a hesitation... but then i realized it was all on the same night :( but i know god has a plan for why i missed ATF this year to be with the youth group.
