Games with blood bad WHAT?!?!

Ok is it just me or do girls think games with blood are bad? b/c the other day i was talking about halo and some girl said o that game is bad cuz it has blood and she said any game with blood is bad

As I said in the 'Hood, it's not a gender-specific thing. I know plenty of guys who can't handle the blood and gore, and plenty of girls who love it.

Although most people tend to get squeamish when I talk about the game where you're a gladiator, and you get more points when you cut a guy's head off, raise it in the air, and then throw it into the crowd. Or when you cut their arm off and beat them to death with it.

my fave fatality in mortal kombat four was when qui gon (i think that was his name) rips the opponents leg off and bludgeons them to death with it, nice!

What is your opinion on this kind of thing? Does it desensitize people to blood, killing, gore?

I dont think so.

IF a person is moral then they wont do what they see in computer games. Bad parents/ governments blame computer games and movies for bad parenting/ policing issues.

You see ALL of the guys i know LOVE halo and that kinda stuff and a few girls i know love halo and such i do to but i am not a girl any way i was just thinking about that so if you guys play halo you know what i am talking about.games that have a LOT of blood that i can think of.halo conan some wwe and wwf games and more but i can't rly think so you guys teel me what kinda games are like that

Do violent video games desensitize people? Possibly. It all depends on the individual.

I know some people who can play the bloodiest video games and yet can't stand the sight of real blood. They can't handle it. I know others who can handle real-life blood and gore but not handle the video games (and trust me: the real-life stuff is much worse than a video game; no matter how violent, no matter how good the graphics, it still looks fake).

Yeah i know see that is kinda like me and like games with blood b/c some of them are good like halo or gears of war but yet if i see a LOT of blood i just kinda look away but then i look back ut if it's a lot lot lot lot of blood but i can it dosen't make me barf or what ever
