Please pray for my cousin. He's a senior in high school this year and we're not totally sure if he'll graduate. He doesn't seem to care about his school work and I don't think he realizes how important this last year of high school is. I've been praying that God will help him get through this year and realize that he is, in fact, a smart kid and that he really does care about school. He doesn't like the school he's at now. I graduated from there a few years ago and I wasn't that fond of it either, but I graduated nonetheless. I don't particularly miss the school itself, just my classmates. Anyway, so, he was supposed to be doing some school work over the summer. That didn't get done and now his mom is saying "I should've made him go to summer school". She should have but you can't do much about it now. He highly dislikes one of his teachers this year, and from what his mom says, she doesn't sound like the best teacher ever. They fired her at the school she was at before she came here. *sigh* We'll see how he does. I'm gonna be so happy when he graduates.

Also, his big brother is leaving for college pretty soon. Please pray for him.

I will pray. You sound like you will be an encouragement to him, which is great! :)

I'm trying to figure out how to get through to him and try to encourage him but I can't think of anything. He won't listen. Like when I've told him that this year will go by fast and that my senior year went by fast, he's just like "uh huh...". I just can't get through that head of his. I've been thinking about asking him to church with me, but he's hard to get a hold of and he, most of the time, won't answer his phone.

Well, we'll pray that he will listen and that he will become hungry for the things of God. Could you send him a card?

I don't know. I'll think of something, eventually. I'd like him to listen to "Let It Fade" because I think it kind of pertains to him and his life, somewhat. I don't know, I just need to keep praying.
