I joined BMG Music Service as part of their Sound and Spirit club. At the time there were other clubs out there that required a certain length of membership, and you had to buy an insane amount of CDs within a certain amount of time. With BMG, you buy ONE CD within a year, and after that, you can leave any time you want...absolutely no commitment! The only catch is that there is a monthly Featured Selection and if you don't go on the site and decline it, they will automatically send it to you and charge you for it. Not bad though because I actually usually go for those :p And if I don't want it, it takes just seconds to hop on the site and click "No Thanks!"
And there are LOTS of perks too....the more you buy at regular price, the more points you get, and there are all kinds of deals and sales and ways to get points. I currently have 24 free cds waiting to be picked because I've racked up so many points or taken part of so many deals. And the free CDs are of course not free....you have to pay S&H but even that amounts to less than $3 per CD for standard shipping.
Just to give you an example, I have 4 CDs in my cart right now ready for purchase. My total is $11.16, and get this.....my total savings on this order is.....
$64.76!!!!!!
Wow! Now that is music to my ears! :)
So is anyone else here a member of a music club?
