Hey all. Would you please pray for Ben? He's had the stomach flu since Tuesday. I'm really concerned because he has intense pain every little while and he screams for about 3 or 4 minutes. He did it a couple times yesterday, but today it's every 30 minutes or so. It's getting worse and we're going to Urgent Care as soon as Dan gets home from church. I stayed home with Ben because of the flu, (I have it, too, but not bad.) I am worried he has telescoped intestines....please pray. I'll let you know what we find out.

Thank You!
Laura

The doctor said it's probably just cramping from the flu, still. He did a urine test and it was normal. Please keep praying, though. He is in such pain when these cramps hit, it really scares me.

Thank you, Leigh. :)

This morning Ben was in terrible pain, so I cancelled my daycare and took him to see his own doctor. (Not Urgent Care). His doc said to take him off ALL dairy for a few days as the enzymes in his intestines return following his flu. He said the enzymes are shed when we're sick, and we need them to digest the milk/dairy. So without them, Ben was having a hard time digesting and it was causing him severe pain. We should see a big improvement in the next 24 hours.

I'm glad this Dr. seemed to be more helpful. Praying for him to feel better soon.

Thank you for asking. Ben is doing much better. He has occassional stomach cramps, but nothing at all like this weekend and Monday. I'll keep him off dairy for at least another full day, if not, two days.

Thank you for praying. :)

That is great to hear!! I had been wondering since I had talked to you on the phone right after you had left Urgent Care. I'll try to give you a call after work tomorrow and catch up with you on a few things (weekend/friend).

God Bless,
Aaron

That sounds good, Aaron. I've been praying for M. The Lord has a plan for her!
Ben went to grandma and grandpa's house for an overnighter. They'll have a blast. Dan and I will be home. He's working on the boat, (some wires fried in the motor last time he went fishing), and I'll be downstairs stamping, so I'll be home...and I'm done with work at 12:45 today. Yeah!
