Labor Day

Just wondering what everyone has planned for Labor Day. I LOVE Labor Day. My mom is the manager at a local restaurant and they're always open on Christmas Day but not Labor Day, so they have their Christmas Party on the lake on Labor Day! :) It's a Texas thing hehe. So much fun! We get to go on a boat tour, and the food is YUMMY!!! And my dad usually plays at them, but I don't know if he's going to this year. Oh well.

Hm I don't know what we are going to be doing. My dad has to work tomorrow, so I'm sure he will want to be home Monday. I have the day off also & plan on sleeping!

Yeah I work on Saturdays too, so I'm REALLY looking forward to the three day weekend cause it's really a 2 day weekend for me.

My dad's family and the family friend (the lady thats husband took his life a few months back..that i asked for prayers about) are getting together and having dinner on Sunday evening. Please pray that she will have fun and be able to keep her mind off of it. Also could you please keep praying for her..a few weeks after husband passed away..her father pasted away from illness.

Yeah I work on Saturdays too, so I'm REALLY looking forward to the three day weekend cause it's really a 2 day weekend for me.

This year is different for me, I actually got a 4 day weekend. Unlike last year where I only had Sunday off. I've been doing pretty much nothing:eek:

I think we're going up to the lake. (Leigh and Steve....up to Devil's Lake, where we went when you were here.)

We picnic, swim, hike and just hang out. It's only an hour away and is like paradise to us. Beautiful!

^Laura- I wish kristen and i could come. i have been blessed w/ this day as a paid holiday for me. i don't think i've ever had Labor Day off. if i have it has been a long time ago.

Well my Labor Day weekend just got a little longer....my boss called me and said I can't come into work for a couple days because they never did my criminal bg check. They also said they're going to be switching some people around, so I may not be with the afterschool kids anymore :( I wish they would just make up their minds!
