Ok guys and gals. Matt triple dog dared us to try to find out where the tour is next March and April. I'm hoping/assuming it's SLTB Tour, but I don't know that. If you get wind of any dates, locations, please post them here. Who will be the first to discover the facts?!

I just looked back over Matt's post and noticed that the tour will be in March/April....the rodeo is in February, so there may be a slight chance that I actually get to see them TWICE this spring! :) That is, if they come back to the rodeo and then come back again for the SLTB tour....*crosses fingers*

So according to someone's comment on J's MySpace page, A Houston radio station said that Jeremy will be having his CD release party in Houston, which if I'm not mistaken is here in Texas! :p :p :p Told ya woman! The man loves Texas! What can I say! :p I just hope there's truth to that! *off to investigate*

a lot of the tour dates are jeremy camp. most of the ones for next year (09) are. He's touring with acquire the fire. Which includes some other cool bands.

We need to bug Mike Powers into getting J to Madison for this tour. We know he is a HUGE J fan!! :p You can tell when its his time on the station. You hear lots of J songs during that time. :D

Yeah, he always plays a few Jeremy songs, right at the peak traffic hour, too, so I know there are LOTS of people hearing them. I've emailed Ann Manion and Greg Walters about getting him here. I'll mention it to Mike, too. (Which I did in Rockford and at Lifefest. LOL) Actually, Kristi Kay who used to work at WNWC, and is now a promoter in Nashville, really tried to get him to Madison. It just didn't work out. :( She's a huge J fan, too. Did I tell you about when she was in Nashville before she moved down there? She was at a gas station or a convenience store of some type and Paul (Jeremy's bus driver) walked in. Kristi asked who he's driving for (he had the bus) and he said "Jeremy Camp". Kristi got all excited and had to tell me about it. LOL. It was so cute. I miss her. I have a picture of her and Jeremy from Lifest. I think I posted it on the old boards, but if you want to see it, I'll look for it. Let me know.

The Iowa dates are about the closest I see, and that is still 6-7 hours away.

Hehe that's how I feel Amy! He's coming to TX 8 times but none of them are close enough to me :( I may be able to convince my sis-in-law to go to the Belton show in April, only about a 2 hr drive from here.

Hehe yeah it's hard to go backwards! I went to my first one then thought "Great, now how many years will I have to wait till he comes back?" Then I found out he's coming back 6 months later, but 7 hours away. I thought "Well, forget that one" then my friend was like "Hey let's go!" :D

I'm hoping that some of those TX dates are for MercyMe's Rock and Worship Road Show cause my friend said he'd gladly travel for that....$10 tickets and several of his favorite bands...doesn't need much more convincing hehe. But shoot...Jeremy Camp was all the convincing I needed *wink*

I would drive 7 hours to a show, no problem. But then comes the hard part...who else around here would? Would we have to stay in hotel or could we drive back? What will gas be at then? What if he doesn't sign....it would be such a bummer to go that far and not get to say howdy to him. On top of that, would I have to use vacation days, then it would mess up our family vacation plans. Could grandma and grandpa take Ben while I was gone if Dan has to work. Tons of details. But hey. I'd do it for sure if I could work them all out. I love to drive and it would be worth it all.

Oh that is so great! I hope it works out for you! How old is Kaylie? I want to take Ben (age 7) to one, too, but don't want to take him on a long drive, because we always turn around and drive back home afterwards...it's a LONG day. (What we should do is make a family vacation around a J date....just gotta find one that will be near some good fishing! :))
