Hm... If I was presented with the opportunity, yeah, no doubtingly, I'd give it a try. Though I tend to like doing it, myself, from a more original standpoint, since a majority of lyrics/music nowadays are either somewhat simplistic, or overly performed. It'd pretty much depend on song.

I love buying the master trax and learning both the lead vocals and the BGV's to some of my favorite songs. I also have this amazing CD player that allows you you switch it into a mode where all you can hear are the BGV's :)

It's great for when I want to learn Adie's part on one of Jeremy's songs...ha-ha! :p

I've performed with a track once. Once. And never again. I feel naked without my guitar -- I'd much rather have the music be just my guitar and my confidence high than a great sounding "band" and no control over tempo and timing and my confidence drop.

Heck, just holding my guitar builds my confidence to the point where I'm comfortable singing.

i agree its easier to control the tempo and all but i buy them for help with strumming and singing for me. i guess vocal training...and i have burnt all my soundtracks onto one cd so if i forget my guitar (yes...i have forgotten it) then i have a back up plan for singing some of J's songs

You connect the mic to your teli box. In the mic you input the number of the song you want to sing. For example, "Heart of Worship - #55522"

Voila! You sing like playing it on GoSing Karaoke software. :)
