Hey Jeremy,
I can't tell you how this album has made me feel. We listened to the the CD as a family and watched the DVD. After all of that, I had this feeling that I could not shake so I sat down with the lyrics and really listened to the CD. The songs have stirred so many emotions in me. It is unbelievable. I wish I could express my feelings. Ther are just not enough words or the right words for me to do so. Your love for Jesus Christ eminates through this album. I can not thank you enough for using your gift from God to bless and inspire people the way that you do. My entire family can't get enough of the CD. My kids absolutely love your music. My son was 4 the first time he ever saw you live (he is now 9). Take My Life has been his favorite song since that day. It is also my girls favorite.
God Bless you and your family for sharing you with the world. I can't imagine the sacrifices that all of you make for your fans and the unsaved people of this world.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!

Guess your right, but 2 years without a new album was a long time. I wa stunned when he said in an interview he didn't want people to think "Oh no another album" Come on who could think that!

Kelly

lol drake, maybe if we beg in ALL of the threads, he might do one! (remember the widow constantly pleading her case before the judge - the judge decides to grant her her petition just to get her off his back! lol - ok, totally NOT calling JC that judge, but...i think you get the idea.....PERSISTENCE!!! hahaha)

seriously, though....jeremy, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease can we have a Christmas cd?? (with a country song? lol)

LOL...we could start a petition for J to do a Christmas album, and be sure that Adie and the girls are on it. And YES....a country song/sound would be awesome.

Jeremy, you mentioned a country sample sent in to some people awhile ago... have you heard any results from that yet? I'm hoping we hear about that soon. Also, you mentioned possibly writing a book some day. You know we'd all buy it! Are you working on it yet? (No pressure, just extremely curious and excited about it!!)

Not metal, ROCK. I would agree. The rock songs are the ones that really seem to get thru to the kids today.

Well everyone, SLTB has definitely helped during our recent crisis with the job situation. My family and I sat down, read the scripture that goes with each song, then listened to the song completely and discussed it. Sordof our make shift bible study. It was great. I truely believe that music makes things easier and funnier to learn. This just helped prove it more. All of you should true it, esp if you have kids. It was great. My kids are so into J it isn't even funny. SLTB video came on GMC. My kids were screaming, turning up the tv, and dancing like crazy. They must have rewound it 100 times. Likely I thought to tivo it. They play it CONSTANTLY!!!!!!
God Bless all of you and Thanks for the prayers!!!

^ Hehehe yep. I would absolutely love to hear Jeremy do a rap song. And, when I was reading earlier posts to this thread, I read someone say something about metal. :D I'd also love to hear metal song also. I definetely agree with you guys though, viva rock songs! To think of it though, Jeremy seems to do less and less rock nowaday. It's more of a slow rock/worship power chord type thing. I kind of miss the harder stuff. =] Or at least the more analytic techniques. But whatever God calls him to do, that's what he should do. I just have this huge desire for creativity and experimentalization.

Hey who knows maybe he will do that country type of sound. ;) Or maybe.... hehe, even jazz! Main thing is... a CHRISTMAS CD!

Thanks for the link! I hadn't heard that song before. Interesting song. :) I kind of think it's sad that KJ just used the recording of "Right Here" though; not that it's a bad mixture, it's kind of neat, I just think it could've been a little more original since "Right Here" has already been publicized. I was kind of disappointed with KJ's rapping though... I think it was the tempo of the song, seeing it was relatively slow. I don't think KJ had a very good rap rhythm going for most of the song, but towards the end and during the chorus it got better. And since there wasn't much music in the background while he was rapping, that could've added to the problem I have with it. =] I loved Jeremy's part though! And the words were great. :)

My favorite song from KJ is this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXNnr9hkh3s Kutless is even in on the song! I think KJ's rapping has more of a flow to it there. But don't take my word, you be the judge! Another song I like from KJ is Wake Up.

Thanks for the link, Kelly. That was fun to listen to.

Jeremy said awhile back...I think it was in IL Unplugged...? That he turned in a country song to someone for consideration. He said he couldn't give us a sample of it. Must be some kind of copyright issue or ethics or something.

I understand, but if wants to continue to reach the youth, they are in to more of a "rock" feel. Don't get me wrong, I love the slower stuff too. I just feel the youth of today need as much positive influence that can be given.

Well everyone, they do have a family membership. It will be coming out this week and from my understanding you can convert an individual mem to a family mem. They are going to apply that payment to it. YEAH!!!!!!!:D;):)
SO EXCITED!!!!!!

that's AWESOME, dawn!!!!

how much is it for the family membership? i asked hubby if he wanted to get a membership so that HE could meet jeremy too (not that he cares one way or the other - what's WRONG with him!!! lol - but i'd feel awful if i was in the m&g and he was hanging around outside waiting - especially since the friends we WERE going to take with us can't make it after all), and he said no, we couldn't justify another $30. but....if it's less than that to add him & the boys.....he might go for it! (i guess i could go look this up for myself :S duh...lol....never mind!)

anyway, VERY happy for you!!!

They are going to email me later this week with the price. Rumor has it it will be around 30 dollars more. This would be for everyone in the family though!!! I think that is a bargin personally if you consider having to buy 4 more like we would of had to for our family of 5. Luckily my hubby does want one. He know how much the kids like J and he likes him too. As soon as I find out I will let you know.

thanks denise. :) after talking to hubby about the family rate, and if we think noah would be able to handle the sensory overload of a show (which we won't even be able to speculate on until we've actually been to one ourselves to see what it's really like!) - if we decide to take the boys when the sltb tour starts (and if it makes it back to the west coast), then i'm sure hubby will go for it. but..if it's just for him, he won't want to, i'm sure. lol

but he HAS assured me that he's totally ok with me going to the m&g and waiting for me outside (the room...not sure if it will actually BE outside....). :) he rocks.

yeah, if we think the boys would be able to handle a show, then i'll DEFINITELY get the family membership....but if it would be too much sensory overload for noah, then we won't be taking them to a show this year - in which case, hubby wouldn't want to family membership. :)
