My uncle's story...

As most of you know from the old boards, my uncle is a songwriter and musician who recently decided to go after his dreams. After a chance meeting with a HUGE radio personality, Ted received a call from them inviting him to meet with them ASAP to discuss putting his music on their show. He met with them only a few days later and the next day, his music was on a nationally syndicated radio station, being heard all around the US!!!! As if that wasn't news enough, after lots of conversation with God, he was led to a musician's workshop in Nashville where many key producers would be in attendance! It is just such a blessing to see things happening for him after all that he's been through with his divorce, and his son's battle with cancer! I could not be a more proud niece!

His bio is finally posted and we are working on getting the music posted as well. I can't wait for you guys to be able to hear him! Granted, I have a slight bias, but I'm telling you, this man has the voice of an angel! God is so good! :)

My uncle is still in Nashville! And none of us have heard from him since he got there...we're all dying here hehehe....

It's so cool, before he left he said "I don't know why I'm going, but God told me to, so I'm going"

I just pray that God continues to guide him while he's there. I'll update as soon as he gets back and shares all the details with us :)

So after 2 GRUELING months of not hearing from my uncle, he FINALLY emailed me today!!! :) I'll just copy/paste it for yall to read...God is SO good!!!

Sorry it has taken so long to answer! Nashville was awesome, but I am back home. I finished all my recording, and the tapes are in Nashville being mastered now. I hope to have 1000 CDs made by end of July. Woo Hoooo! Thank you for your prayers! I know God was all over this project... Its almost like I was watching Him work, rather than me doing the work.

Since I don't have a job, a friend of mine is buying a house for us and we will just pay him for the loan... God is amazing! We will move middle of next month! Can't wait... All the boys (except Seth is on his own) live with me now....

It's DONE!!!!! :) He's mailing me a copy tomorrow!!!!! :D I can't wait to hear it! Hopefully we'll get it posted up on the site soon so yall can hear it too, and if you want a copy let me know! They're $15 plus shipping (he's going to find out shipping costs tomorrow when he mails mine).

I finally got it today and I realize I'm extremely biased, but I'm being completely unbiased when I say this CD is AMAZING!!!!! If he weren't my uncle and I heard this from a friend or someone, I'd totally want it! I'm gonna start on his MySpace page tonight and I hope to have some music up ASAP so yall can hear it and realize that you NEED this CD! :p

MySpace page is up and running. No music yet. He's still deciding which tracks he wants on there. But hopefully by tomorrow we'll get something up for you to hear :) In the meantime, please feel free to add him, and encourage others to do so as well! :)

Just a little update.....the CD is DONE!!! :) Packaging and everything! It is so surreal! When he put it in my hands I was just blown away! Can't even describe the feeling!
