Default Hi!

Hi Kelly! I love that scripture! i remember that from the "Faithful Fans" thread on the old boards. I don't think that was by accident you stumbled across that scripture, totally God! I agree the Official Team Camper verse! leigh

2 Corinthians 3:3
3You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

I'm SO glad you were finally able to get on here, Leigh.

Yeah, the 'Because of One' day really started with your idea for a day of fasting and prayer for Jeremy. Remember? You are a huge part of this. It's so exciting! Big thanks to you, Kelly and Krystal for your parts in coming up with that awesome idea!

Well, look around and join in the discussions. Lots of fun stuff here.

Love ya!

Thanks Laura, I think it was between the "Fasting & Prayer" thread started on the boards and Krystal's desire to do a solid day of fasting and prayer reaching out to as many as possible to participate really stirred my heart. I just thought that it needed to be more, not just a random day even though some of us fast and pray for Jeremy's ministry daily, weekly, etc. There needed to be a day that really connected w/ the ministry and the day Melissa went to be with Jesus would definitely be it. Melissa is the ultimate reason we are here on these boards today, it was all in God's plan. Even though one precious rose was taken, God left behind a precious gem stone that would radiate the light of the gospel to the people. Bringing hope and healing to so many withered flowers nurturing giving strength to the stem and petals to boldly shine as roses that continue to produce and multipy.
I am so thankful for the strength God gave Jeremy to stand up and worship the Lord at that moment and not letting him drown in his sorrow. Things may have been differently if he had chosen his own selfish desires to stay there on the floor curled up in a ball. The power of his spirit had to have over taken that strong desire to just want to lay there weeping. I truly can't fathom being so torn between the flesh and spirit. God's grace is reaching out to us all the time.
I'm so thankful, so thankful!

Breathe Him ~Leigh

*Love the name Because of One! That truly says it all!

Default In Him Alone

Thank you, Kelly!
Wow, talk about goose bumps......
I was reading Acts 14 and when I got through verses 19-23 I was
blown away! After what the Lord laid on my heart to write earlier it all connected together. In these verses Paul reminds me of Jeremy and what he went through up until now. Paul was stoned and dragged out of the city, left for dead. Only to get back up and go back to the city to preach. Just as Jeremy's flesh was defeated by sorrow, his spirit had so much more to give - he stood up and worshipped. He WORSHIPPED! Do you think Paul had fears going back and facing those that left him for dead? I know in interviews Jeremy has talked about how hard it was to share his testimony. It's like reliving that moment, all those emotions sweep back over you. Verse 21 goes on talking about they preached to people in the city of which Paul was stoned and many were won to God, just as Jeremy has faced his hardships head on and won many to God. Verse 22 goes on talking about they strengthen and encourage the people to remain true to the faith, just as Jeremy does for us. Also Verse 22 says, "We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God," How times has Jeremy had to face his hardship of losing Melissa concert after concert after concert.....? All done In Christ ALONE! Verse 23 reminds me of all those that have been called to serve in this ministry, and are totally sold out for Christ, fasting & praying for this ministry. Thank you, Jeremy for walking so closely with the Lord! It's very humbling to be a part of this ministry ~Breathe Him ~Leigh

Acts 14:19-23

19Then some Jews came from Antioch and Iconium and won the crowd over. They stoned Paul and dragged him outside the city, thinking he was dead. 20But after the disciples had gathered around him, he got up and went back into the city. The next day he and Barnabas left for Derbe.

21They preached the good news in that city and won a large number of disciples. Then they returned to Lystra, Iconium and Antioch, 22strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. "We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God," they said. 23Paul and Barnabas appointed elders[a] for them in each church and, with prayer and fasting, committed them to the Lord, in whom they had put their trust.

Wow. Thanks for sharing that Leigh! Goosebumps for sure!!!! Reminds me of my M&G with Jeremy back in February. Happened to be on Feb 6th, the day after the anniversary, and I told him the story about my brother and sister-in-law playing Walk By Faith at their wedding. I handed him a paper with a picture of my brother and sis-in-law at their wedding and the lyrics to Walk By Faith and asked him to sign it for them. He asked their names and that's when it hit me....my sis-in-law's name is Melissa! I got choked up, just saying the name! I can't imagine what he goes through having to talk about it and relive it day after day.
